I think Pablo's end goal as a 1970's dandy should be horse breeding. I can see him in the brown, cosmolux betting parlor, smoking a pipe, talking about studs

I think it would be smart to raise the house up a level and have the ground floor under it be a barn space and then then upper levels be the house, it would save room by not needing a separate area for the horse bed and trough. It could play into the Cosmo lux theme because his house is up in space not down on earth like the others

I love how the wheel became a main character on this channel 😹

Ooooooh, I like this ‘spin’ on tiny town. I know it was inconvenient for this and you found a way round it, but generally happy for my own gameplay that you can’t add a horse randomly to a ‘for rent’ apartment. I don’t currently own Horse Ranch, but if I ever get it I don’t want horses popping up in my apartments.

Would love to see a semi-spinoff ep with some of the siblings to try and make the vaccine or defeat the mother plant. Or maybe a live stream? Love this series 🎉

I bet rain runs throughout all ea s4 games at a percentage rate. Everyone else turned it off, so James is getting all of it. LoL. Gotta love the full-on challenge acceptor!

For the house, the bottom floor being a barn or at least a place for Pecan would free up some outside space and putting his home up a level would allow for some neat architecture. Like interesting rounded patios with artificial grass via 1950s modern home aesthetics.

I do feel you with the rain ! I love brindleton bay but it never stops raining there so its hard to play in without using a weather machine On the other hand i live in england and it raining every day is pretty true to life for henford on bagley so i guess theres that at least

during my super sim challenge, i added the activity "care for animals" to my family club, and it helped a ton with taking care of my horses, mini animals, and pets. you could also save money to buy or adopt another horse (or more) to have more daily competition opportunities.

You could always built kind of a “floating” house. Obviously maybe not ACTUALLY floating, but maybe one on stilts or a tree house or something. That way, you can still have the lawn with all the horse stuff, and a little bit more space for the house!

It would be awesome if you made a second story that was slightly larger than the first! That was you have more space, but it won't get in the way of the horse stuff. It would be very retro sci-fi.

I would like to see the added challenge of making Krystoff remove possession (either vaccinated or killing the mother) the next time he’s rolled. He’s been possessed for too long, and he can’t handle it anymore, so he defeats the mother so he can continue to make his fortune in painting. He could also be worried about his husband and child being affected by the “disease”. Plus, he is the easiest to make money with, and he already has a full house.

I think that you could build like a treehouse, or a rocket house... Above the horse bed maybe or build like a barn for the horse and a house above maybe

I dont know if this would be weird but the AI photo at 26:04 gave me an idea on the house/horse problem. instead of the house having a ground floor, raise it and make that the horse area and then live on top of the horses area. The AI photo had a outdoor patio area, with an indoor kitchen part and then the second floor building hangs the patio. change the patio to make room for the horse jumps and the indoor kitchen to a stable (if it all fits) and then you build up for your sim. I dont know if it'll all work and fit but if it does, that could be quite cool and fit with the décor style

Now Pablo has a toilet you can sell the peepee bush. Gets some simoleans, not many but... also gives at least 4 more squares to play with on his lot.

You should build a 2 story barn for Pablo and Pecan. You can have all the horse stuff on the 1st floor and Pablo's stuff on the 2nd.

Pablo should build a tree house on the tree in his lot so his house would be cantilevered over the horse jumps

I believe you can enter a different horse on the same day. So one competition per day, per horse. But I don't know how you'd fit multiple horses onto that lot. 😂😆

All the rain is why my favorite crystal in the Crystal Creations stuff pack is Amber. It turns the weather sunny, when charged and worn by a Sim. I now make it a requirement for Sims who don't live in Oasis Springs, to acquire it. I make two identical pieces so there is always one piece charging while the other one is being worn, so my Sim is never without. I really prefer the sunshine and brightness irl too. It's a bummer that Amber is one of the rare crystals. It's a journey to get it. Sometimes I get lucky and dig one up at the park in Oasis Springs. Otherwise, I'm waiting for the tree to evolve to perfect. P.S. James, your horse care has really improved since your Horse Ranch LP. Way to go!

Hey, maybe you could play with every character before you could repeat them, that way the town would have a sense of growing in the same pace.

Try use the toool mod to put the horse training stuff outside the main lot, like outside the buildable lot, so you would have more space for the house and the house for the horse 😊❤

You talked about mailboxes and I think the debug mailbox from Island Living would look great (deli also uses it). Since it's debug it's not functional but there is a modded version that functions. Or you just add one of the other mailboxes just right to it 😊

As someone that trains and rides her own horses, I have never felt so seen as when James said 'My whole house is horse stuff'

James, if you split each option on the wheel into three occasions of each name, that will give you a might higher chance of getting someone different each time.

As someone who lives in the Pacific Northwest of North America, this rain feels just like home 😂 I've been doing horse riding for Tiny Town too and abusing the prairie grass in Chestnut Ridge. You can get nectar from it which is a great boost of cash. It's still part of horse riding if I'm gathering food for my horse!

OK i had to chime in with this but if u want horses and ranch with cosmolux look up Atomic Ranches in the us southwest specifically Las Vegas and Palm Springs.

Does anyone know if James uploaded his base plot set up as the rentals on the gallery? I tried searching and came up empty. I know Deli has her version, but I just like how James set his up specifically.

So I know no one cares but I'm a riding instructor, so since the horse is colored like that but a mix he looks like a paint breed but it's not his breed so his color would be called pinto. A pinto horse would most likely be a quarter horse or a mustang as it is most common. One of my favs

Praerie grass is bugged. It doesn't spawn at all. I play on a lot with my current gen and it has the lot trait but it only shows up on the few bushes I bought in build buy mode.... it never shows up on its own...
