You're doing great - and I have to disagree with people saying you should be theming these comps. Themed ones are great, but they're done by everyone. Plus, there's a good chance there's at least one game in these that I've never seen before so keep on going! This rules
Thanks for the support! I think people enjoy the more curated assortment of videos over themed episodes so that will definitely be the priority for me. But I think some themed episodes can be fun too (at least how my brain likes to organize things). Learning as I go, but definitely great to hear back from people who like this format. I like to think of them as wrapped presents. Never know what you're going to find inside.
@@GoofGrumpinI think what you did for October (all horror stuff) was probably a good seasonal sort of thing to do, and to help build an identity for your channel as opposed to other grumps comps. But that doesn't need to be the rule. Your thumbnails and the frequency of upload already distinguish your channel, not to mention the fact that you're not just pulling the same clips everybody else does.
Thanks @@ArchibaldClumpy ! Def enjoyed all the horror stuff. Appreciate the kind words. Trying to present something different since I myself have gone through all the compilations in the past.
I agree to this as well. I’ve seen too many compilations that have all the same things on them (honestly fatigued with the MARK ZUCKERBERG story that I see in half the compilations out there). And this one reminds me of Grumps moments I’ve completely forgotten or just haven’t seen in general
I absolutely love that you follow up the reference with the material instead of assuming it's known, and that you go back to finish the bit when needed after giving that context. Thanks so much for these compilations!
Thanks! I try to keep the selection of videos both videos that I personally enjoy and not tread too much on series that have been done to death. Happy that people are really enjoying the vids. Appreciate your support!
I honestly love the cuts to different games in each of your grump compilations. Yeah, other ones are pretty cool, but your comps have a wide variety of episodes over short bursts and the way you're giving each of them a chance to be shown is pretty cool. It's well edited too. Keep up the good work!
i really love this channel, like there's def a few great gg comp channels out there, but this one is just really pleasant and your comedic timing for clips is on point lol
I love how the Grumps actually ADDRESS one of my favorite parts about their videos. They always ignore more POPULAR games (Because they’re boring and unfunny to watch others play imo) but always go for the weird, awesome unpopular games! lol Makes shows SO MUCH BETTER wjen they do that!
Moon Crystal is a well made NES game. It pushes the NES's hardware limits, from the parallax scrolling to the animations of the sprites. The controls are something to get used to.
Since folks are leaving feedback, ill leave some too! My one tweak would be switching between playthroughs SLOWER. No explicit theme to the comp? Fantastic Cutting back and forth between playthroughs? Fantastic But with the speed you cut between rhem, I'm actually dipping out early, and would have done so sooner if my hands were free. Because of how quickly the clips switch games, my brain can't fully enjoy any of them, so I'm going to look up the actual playthroughs to watch! I will say though, that you have fantastic taste in clips to add in!
I like these comps because it not the "Good Ole Grumps" clips every uses in every comp. I like lesser know clips and newer grumps just as much as I love older classic grumps.
There will always be some classic grumps that I like and will show but it just so happens that a lot of my fav stuff is somewhat obscure or from the last 5 years.
I know it’s sad. Felt like both games were very interesting especially Stanley. Either way I thank you for your suggestions. They are some of my favorites.
Nooo i accidentally clicked the dislike button while trying to like and it said feedback given back to the creator! I feel bad now im sorry! Loved this compliation
