You've gotta do the rest of this album! Make sure to do the original 1990 version though, cause the remastered version is mixed worse and has some replaced vocals in it. This is probably almost the pinnacle of thrash metal right here.
Watching you guys have the same reaction to the song that i had when i first heard it made me smile. I do recommend checking out She-Wolf, Five Magics, Bullet To The Brain, Fatal Illusion, 1320, Into The Lungs Of Hell, Set The World Afire, Devils Island, Last Rites/Loved to Deth, and Mechanix. All of which are by Megadeth. They are some of my personal favorites that weren't on the Rust In Peace album
There is a reason why 'Rust in Peace' is one of the top 3 Thrash metal albums. If you continue to listen to the album in order of the songs, 'Take No Prisoner' is next. And it will blow you away. Also, make sure you listen to the original album cuts, not the remastered versions. Any of the first 5 Megadeth albums have songs which will cause you to trip. 'RiP', their 4th album, was their last full Thrash album. 'Countdown to Extinction', album 5, is a mix of Thrash and Heavy Metal. Later albums have less Thrash elements. The production on the first 3 albums is not as good as 'RiP', but their raw energy is killer.
Good job guys! Rest of Rust In Peace is a MUST. I envy that you can discover that for the first time like I did, thirty three years ago :) greetings from Poland 👊
There was a serious competition going on during that era, Mustaine having been in Metallica, them kicking him out before the recording of the 1st album, MegaDave coming back with a vengeance; it is perfectly evident during this era of Thrash Metal, so damn cool, and every thrash metal outfit from this era are fire, they had to be, vibe was fierce!
Hey! We just released a new Megadeth reaction if you’d like to check it out! Our plan is to eventually get through the whole of the rust in peace album!
my last words has the best dave solo, good mourning black friday is a masterpiece.. i know that RIP is a magnum opus from megadeth but that raw sound of peace sells is the best
If you love guitar solos, check out Acid Rain-live in LA by Liquid Tension Experiment. John Petrucci is the guitarist and its an insane solo for about 2 minutes
Also if you like unpredictable songs, you've gotta check out Dream Theater or Death. Songs I can recommend are Under a Glass Moon and Symbolic, respectively.
@@TheIntrusiveThinkers That would be a great idea if you haven't heard much of theirs before in that case, yeah! If you plan on multiple songs, then a ton of stuff off the album Images and Words is great.
These are 18 Albums best complicated wonderfull Musik And Mustaine is also aprophet for his lyrics!!!! I LOVE IT !!!! I was 19 when first listened to Dave and his Megadeth!!! Im a very fan of Dave Mustaine and I m now 51 Listen to the 'World needs a hero"and "Super Collider"
One of the best songs you could have chosen to react to, great! Anyway , Could you please react to the band Death? Either the song "Pull the Plug", "Left to Die" or "Spiritual Healing". Death is a band that helped birth and shape a new metal genre (death metal) after thrash metal (Metallica, Megadeth). The band leader was a great musician and composer, I think you might find them interesting and different.
Megadeth, this era in particular, is the epitome of Technical Thrash Metal!! Definitely finish this album, and then go back!! Killing is my Business is a chaotic Thrash album, among the originators of the genre. Peace Sells is another Masterpiece and confirmation of Mustaine as the Godfather of Thrash!! Next is So Far, So Good, So What... This was actually my first Megadeth album when I was 14, and I was Hooked!! They followed that up with Rust In Peace, which you already know is a Masterpiece, but also widely considered one of the Greatest Metal Albums Ever!!! You guys have started an amazing journey!!! I can't wait to watch more!!🤘🏻🤘🏻
