This story is amazing. Period. I love the friendship and magic system. Characters are sooooo good. Please give it a thought to react to it. Asta may be pretty annoying in the sub more than the dub, but he totally does grow on you.

The reason there’s so many mixed reviews is bc the author wanted to make a shonen version of berserk which meant obviously not being as graphic. His main focus is the world building/lore and its characters. The animation isn’t consistent due to it being a weekly production, but I still recommend it. It’s a really well written series and imo has no boring episodes. The main inspiration for this series are Db, bleach, berserk, and togashi(hxh,yuyu hakusho)

you have no idea how excited i was that Ange recognized TXT!!! also if you don’t already know of them, you should totally check out xdinary heroes. they’re a k-band and i think you’d really like a lot of their songs! Black Clover as a whole is a really amazing show and it’s easily one of my favorites! i feel like a lot of people who dislike it didn’t get through the first season because it definitely starts slow lol. but as someone who has seen just about all of your videos,i think you guys would really enjoy it! 3:42 also best boy gordon❤

The consensus favorite among the general public is OP 10 - Black Catcher, to the point where a lot of people even have it in their Top 5 Anime OP's ever (e.g. NicholasLightTV had it at No. 4 on his Top 60 anime Openings list) But yeah, 1,3,7, and 12 are also pretty popular. Glad you liked them!

The mixed reviews come from the animation imo. The story is solid, good plot, the animation lets it down sometimes tho. But definitely a show worth watching.

Yeah, the studio wanted to do seasonal but the publisher wanted a weekly series. So they skimped on animation for several episodes so they could focus on their favourite parts of the story, since they didn't have the budget to do cool animation otherwise. Can put people off a bit.

In my opinion its a very underrated show. Its got great character development, great animation, soundtrack and most importantly a great and intriguing storyline. Absolutely recommend giving Clover a go as it quite honestly shocked me with how much i genuinely enjoyed watching it.

OMG I have to say seeing you guys react to BLACK CLOVER is like a fever dream. I enjoy your reactions so much and BLACK CLOVER is one of the anime that got me hooked on watching anime again. I would love to see you guys react to it, the show starts off very very slow in the beginning and the main character Asta is super annoying at first ( heads up) but it is overall peak and I mean a PEAK anime. You all will absolutely adore the characters and their interactions with each other. The animation (particularly in the first 40 episodes) can be a bit rough, but it gets way better over time and some of the fights are absolutely spectacular. Asta is a great MC and Yuno is a great rival. Also, the female cast is actually super important and not just there for the MC Just make sure when you watch it you watch the dub, it has Chris sabat

@@The123abable Because Asta was absolutely insufferable in the sub for like the first 10 episodes. He got a hell of a lot better, but he was a legitimate nightmare in the beginning. I came out of it liking the sub more still once he got better, but I'll never discredit Black Clover's dub. It's up there with the great dubbed animes for me now. The few and the mighty.

@@PK_Nate it's not about discrediting. Just because the dub is "good" doesn't make it better than original, like a lot of things are lost in translations, a lot of things are lost during dubs too. It makes sense for people who're not used to subtitles or watching foreign language stuff, but these guys are used to it. They even watched Fmab in dub due to popular opinion. And fyi they've started one piece which has similar annoying goofy voiceactings which you do get used to after a while so this is nothing.

Black clover is great! Took me maybe 5 episodes to get into, but I've grown to love it. I think what it does best is portraying the camarederie and friendships between the characters. It's also funny at times, a good comfort show with some amazingly animated fights.

The last one is my fave because the best character in the entire show is in it for like a single second. But honestly, I listen to all of them because they are all amazing. gonna need endings 1-13 as well for sure now that you've opened the black clover gate. The endings are extremely diverse, in both song and visuals. You'll def enjoy them as well. Also the main character is named Asta lol, so idk how you got the other name. The main character's friend is named Yuno.

To give you a short summary or a synopsis of the story it's a story about a character who lived in a world where magic is everything but only him can't wield any magic power, his friend/brother because they both live in the orphanage has talent for magic and outshine the main character because he doesn't have a single ounce of magic power... So the story begins about a boy who wants to be a wizard king despite having no magic power, and he's doing it through hard work and raw strength....

It's also my top 1 anime for an underrated hidden gem of an anime just because some anime like sao, one piece, naruto and various anime outshine it's existence however despite all of that the story won't disappoint I cried like more like 10 times watching episode 1~170 it really shows that even you're the only one who doesn't have a magic in a world where magic is everything... Despite all of that you aimed to the top

Watching the vid you didn't know about why it called black clover.... A little introduction to it is that every leaf represents a thing... The leaves of the clover each symbolize certain virtues: 3 leaves represent Faith, Hope, and Love. The rare fourth leaf represents Good Luck. The fifth leaf is said to represent the devil. but only 3 and 4 leaves are known in the public.... That's why you always saw the black clover with a 5 leaf clover.
