Hahaha awesome reaction as always! When Ren was making this noisies that sounded like he had a mouth stuck in his mouth that's a jazz style called "scatting" lol. It was started in 1926 by Louis Armstrong when he forgot the words to a song they were recording so he sang nonsense/gibberish in tune with the music and bam.... 2023 Ren sounds like a big flew in his mouth. That's what I thought it sounded like at first then I remembered about scatting and it's so rare for people to use these days. I love when he does it now.
Ren is good at everything lol! Most artist would never do Bob Marley an absolute icon but Ren does it so well and with such respect he is amazing! So are the other members of the band!It is called skatting it is a jazz thing!
4 songs in this mashup: 1) Bob Marley "I Shot The Sheriff" 2) Damien Marley "Road to Zion" 3) DJ Luck and MC Neat "A Little Bit of Luck" 4) Dead Prez "Hip Hop".
Great reaction. "The Big Push" busking sessions, concerts, and live recordings all are amazing and well worth checking out. The members of "The Big Push" are all independent solo artists who struck up a friendship, moved in together, and formed the band. Ren Gill, Gorran Kendall, and Romain Axisa take turns singing lead vocals at times, except for the drummer Glen Chambers. However, each of the band members is currently focusing on a solo career due to Ren's absence. Their covers of "I Shot The Sheriff/Road To Zion/Hip Hop," "Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble So Hard," "Watch Out," “War Pigs,” “Roadhouse Blues,” "My Generation," “Paint It Black,” "An Englishman in New York," “Bongo Bong,” “War Pigs” and many others are all awesome. On “These boots are made for walking’/Satisfaction/Everybody,” “Praise You” (Fatboy Slim Cover), and “What Kind Of Woman Is This,” all three take a turn singing. Their original songs "Oh My Woman," “Swan Song,” “Sweet Little Lady," "It's Alright," “Dignity,” “Watch Out” and so many others are equally impressive. Gorran Kendall is a singer/songwriter/busker from the UK. He plays the bass, electric and acoustic guitar, the harmonica, and frequently sings lead for "The Big Push." As a solo artist, he is a folk singer, and his music is reminiscent of 60s folk. I love Gorran's music. Here is the link to his YT channel: www.youtube.com/@GorranKendall Romain Axisa is a singer/songwriter/busker originally from Toulouse, France, where he started playing the guitar at age 12. At age 14, he was the singer in a rock band and later became a rapper. He plays guitar, bass, piano, and a lute/mandolin/ukulele type string instrument featured in the song "Bongo Bong;" opinions are divided over what Romain played in that performance. In addition, Romain sings lead on a few "The Big Push" songs. His solo music is unique, and I don't know what genre it would be categorized as. I really enjoy his music as well. Here is the link to his YT channel: www.youtube.com/@RomainAxisa I would highly recommend to anyone to watch/listen to their song "Dignity." Not only is it a beautiful song but the accompanying music video offers the audience an intimate view into their day-to-day on and off-stage interaction. It's almost like being there with them in their home, on the streets, and on stage. It is one of my favorite videos and has been very underappreciated and overlooked by most reactors and fans alike. Watch the Big Push's "Paint it black" and watch Ren not say one word, and yet still be the star of the video!!! See him turn a bass guitar into a gatling gun!!!
Y'all remember some dead prez hip hop...i do... that was some 90's bang like NWA. We were down with that back then. It was the rebellion... funny how that's changed
You two make me smile! I nearly didn’t bother with you after your first Ren reaction, but so glad i did! The change around in your attitudes is a real treat, and your admiration see through....keep it up guys
awesome reaction as always. i wish i could have been there that day. speaking of which, that same day they did an awesome cover of "paint it black" and one of the best performances of their own track "watch out". the energy and atmosphere is better than some of the live performances by well known artists that i've paid to see!
Yeah that'd be Ren lol..I say this often and mean it very literal but I can't think of an artist in recent times that has more all around talent than this man. Some people work hard and he has but he's also one of those that was born with this. And the way they knew Hip Hop from the legends Dead Prez was dope, you got to be a real head to know that song. Enjoy the ride he has a lot of content..may I suggest his and Chinchillas cover of Drake and Beyonce..they did a mashup with One Dance. And we got to point out all the females in that crowd lol..every one of his Busking sessions is like 90% female..my guy melting em lol
Its so cool watching people that react to good music Yall are just vibin heads banging and swayin. Its fun to watch music lovers react being such a music lover myzelf

Thanking you again for playing this awesome request for me on the Live... Look forward to watching the live reaction to Humble again 😀 Will you upload it soon? Both of your reactions really made my day! Knew you's both love it! 🔥 🫶🇬🇧
Keep it real...DID YOU recognize the Dead Prez song "Hip Hop" ? I hope you listen it. The Big Push (Ren in particular) does the song major justice in my opinion. Great reaction from you guys once again and THANK YOU!
This is my fave performance of TBP followed by Wade in the water/nina Simone/trouble so hard, Swan song and Englishman in New York, oh and sweet little lady and why my woman 😂 I’m not obsessed with Ren at all nope 🤣🖤
He is whats known as Scatting - in vocal jazz, scat singing is vocal improvisation with wordless vocables, nonsense syllables or without words at all In scat singing, the singer improvises melodies and rhythms using the voice as an instrument rather than a speaking medium.
Idk if you read your comments but if you do there’s 3 songs by Ren that have others on the song that y’all will love. First one is Ren and Chincilla One Dance/Drunk in love. Second song Ren and Sam Thompkins man’s world and Fallings. Last one Ren and Chincilla Sexual Healing. Trust me when i say you will be amazed
New sub I'm glad that you fell into the rabbit hole...after a sticky start....lol. I love the authenticity that shows through in your reactions. There is so much more for you to discover...and I'm happy to be here for it. If you're after some more vocally impressive tracks....try "How to be me" or Chalk Outlines".........If you want Rap (maybe even Rappity Rap) then i'd suggest "Love Music-Part 1/2/3.......if you want a story then I'd go for "The Tales of Jenny & Screech (full version) Your channel...Your Choice...I'm just happy to be along for the ride. Much love from the UK...Stay safe...I'll see you on the next one
