It's so difficult to choose my favourite because I ADORE them both! I am a HUGE fan of copper so Gunnar's dress really appealed to me, but then Crescent's dress looked so freaking gorgeous on those steps in the sunlight. If I could choose to wear one of them, then Crescent, it would be yours purely because the colour would suit me better lol!! Brilliant challenge, guys. You two are a joy to watch! All positives, no back stabbing. They were both so gorgeous and it is reminiscent of when i was in school and all i did was work on art. The creativity flowed, all of the creativiry in the world, it felt like. You had that with each other. Being the cheerleader for your friend aids in the process. What an amazing, uplifting video. after watching both your processes and listening to your doubts and worries and ideas,, how could i possibly choose ? both dresses are absolute DREAMS and inspirations!!!! you guys make me want to hop into a studio and just start MAKING. that being said , and i swear I'm not being bias because i love both dresses , i think shay's wins by the slimmest margin! the green color on gunnar's didn't quite work with the copper in the final look in my opinion ? both dresses are gorgeous though !! love the longer video , shay , it makes the perfect media to play along while I'm doing my art homework :]

To Gunnar & Shay- this is my first time on your channel and I have never watched project runway before but what you both accomplished was absolutely astounding!!!! I did not think it at all possible to get these projects under $1000.00, no less approximately for #300.00!!! and also actually find similar fabric and sewing everything in two days. I am astonished!!! Your creative sense, ability to work and adapt under pressure and skill level is outstanding. Both of your dresses are winners in my books and you are both amazing designers! This was really fun and interesting to see how you both problem solve the different issues that came up. I can't choose a favorite because they both look gorgeous. Imagine what you could do with more time and money. You should definitely do something similar to this again in the future. It could be a series where either both of you working on something or you each do a similar challenge with your other friends who design, create and sew, but do a series with other guests doing it. That could be a lot of fun and educational as well. Happy sewing.

You both chose some of my favorite Met Gala looks ever and did an amazing job recreating them! I would have chosen a more delicate lace for the appliques on yours and I would have loved to see Gunnar pull off the reveal the way Blake's dress was but given the limitations of the challenge I know that wouldn't have worked. So long story short I can't decide which one I like more but I love them both!!!

Blake Lively-Off judgment: i LOVED the statue of liberty dress, but i think gunnar was too limited by budget to really pull it off - the colors weren't *quite* there. the burgundy dress was much more dramatic and beautiful on film. so good with the bodice! i have to give the win to Shay. but you both did an AMAZING job. that copper dress could be worn on its own. you make me wish i could create like this!

Both are amazing. Shay’s choice is time consuming as there are a lot of appliqués so that’s bonus point but Gunner’s technique is amazing. To be fair, both of you complete the sewing in 3 days so technically it is 3 days challenge (minus the shopping)
