RIP Sir Roger Moore (1927-2017) RIP Sir Sean Connery (1930-2020) Nobody did it better. You guys did live twice, once for yourself and once for us. Good night, Mr. Bond.
Lieselot Van Haren I was heartbroken that he passed away too, 😓😢😭🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 I'll never forget him as James Bond 007. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 But I have him in my Gallery on my phone.
He might not be my favourite James Bond but he certainly gave it his own flair. The most gentlemanly of all Bonds and the most gentlemanly of all gentlemen. When it came to the fun and quick witted side of Bond, nobody did it better, and nobody ever will. May you rest in peace, in the knowledge you have been, and are, an inspiration and an icon for so many.
They best remember SIR!!! Roger moore. Endited by Queen Elizabeth II in 2003. Dont let his memory waste away ever. 1989( Shouldnt know his movies, but i do. )
Roger Moore is the best James bond ever in my point of view, always brings smile, laugh, joy and humour in cinema back in 70s, thats how the way gentleman looks like with warm hearted...
In my opinion timothy dalton is the best and the 2nd is daniel craig 3rd is george lazenby 4th is roger moore and last is sean connery because tbh sean connery is overrated
There goes another piece of my childhood...you realise you are getting old when all your childhood icons are passing on...thanks for the memories Rodger
My favourite actor and childhood hero. Spending 2 hours in the cinema with Roger as Bond was the highlight every 2 years as a kid. Cried all the way through this. RIP Roger, truly nobody did it better
Rest in peace Mr. Moore. May God be with you and to take care of you. And I'll miss you as James Bond 007. 😥😪😭😢 I'll miss you with all my heart. And he was my 2nd most favorite Bond, since I've watched his movies of Agent 007. And I shall watch your movies to honor and remember you, sir, which is what I like doing whenever I am at home or at my father's house. God bless Sir Roger George Moore, who is James Bond 007.🇬🇧🇬🇧🌹🌹🌹🌹 And I'll never forget him as Mr. Bond. 😭🌹🇬🇧 And I still watch all of the movies because of him, because I loved him as Mr. Bond. I am even going to put pictures and wallpapers of him as James in my Gallery on my phone, which is what I am still doing, because I loved him as James Bond 007. 🇬🇧😇 Since that my mother knew that I had started to have a secret crush on him. And I still miss him, because I heard about his passing. And there never has been anybody but him.
Yehuda Finkelstein By far my favourite bond, the films nowadays just dont have the humour, theyre good but somethings missing. The charisma, the humour. And of course the one liners too.
Definitely! I remember his fights with Jaws being the very pinnacle of excitement when I was a kid. Roger Moore & Richard Kiel were very close friends in real life though... Until Donald Pleasence & his fluffy white cat gave the order to attack that is!
RIP Sir Roger Moore. He was the first James Bond that I've seen in my life and I was born in 1991. Moonraker was my first Bond film growing up with and I can honestly say that he was Bond in every way. He was suave, gentlemanly, serious but not often, and always had a penchant for dry humor. I will never forget watching Sir Roger Moore as 007 and I share my condolences to his family.
I was born in 86 and my first Bond films I saw with my cousin who had all Bond films at the time on vhs in 95 and the first films I saw were The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker. I became a Bond fan and still a fan of the series.
Roger Moore’s Bond films were the first ones I ever watched and to this day they are still my favourites. His whole performance was perfect. Nobody did it better.
Without him we wouldn't still have the James Bond franchise today. And while we're at it - his light-hearted and tongue-in-cheek approach is the template many a "wise-cracking Hollywood heroes" did it in the following decades. Moore always knew his limitations and compensated with his great charm.
Roger Moore is a truly one of a kind.. I had the pleasure of writing a film script for Roger when I worked in London as an American actor/ screenwriter, and he was a joy to behold. Modest, witty and always a gentleman.. Hollywood could take a lesson from him..
The best James Bond and you cant deny it ! He was fun, sophisticated, suave and never took himself too seriously like all the other actors, If i want a gritty depressed spy movie with no laughs i'll go watch Jason Bourne. Rest well Sir Roger.
Dylan Morgan You could also watch the first two Connery Bond films which had little laughs and were more serious and grounded spy thrillers. Bourne took inspiration from early Bond and Daniel Craig has gone back to that.
Relatively new Bond fan here. I keep returning to this. Pat yourselves on the back, you've made such a great tribute to my personal favorite Bond. Nobody did it better.
Relatively new Bond fan here too. Wasn’t particularly fond of Sir Roger Moore at first as he looked rather too old and not “cool”. It’s only after I started to watch the films did I understand why his run was so good. He is now my favourite Bond alongside Connery.
This is the best tribute by far, so well edited and with the perfect choice of clips, and with probably the best Bond theme there is. A more than fitting tribute to Sir Roger Moore, all round good guy and the best 007.
Watching his films as a child and teenager made me love the character even more. He was funny, charasmatic, and dramatic. He was a wonderful James Bond.
Quite simply the best Bind. Action, entertainment, glamour and escapism, humour and effortless great acting. Roger Moore should have done one more Bond after A View To A Kill, as good as any of his Bonds. Will we ever see films as universally entertaining and popular as Roger Moore’s Bonds. As is often the case, you don’t realise you were living through and witnessing greatness until it’s gone.
No one ever loved playing Bond as much as Roger Moore did. It was devastating to lose him, but we'll all die eventually. His films will FOREVER be cherished.
I don't think of better; I think of unique. They are both great in their own ways. What I love about each actor that is meticulously selected is that they each bring something new to the table. In essence, they keep the mythos of Bond alive.
This makes me glad I am 55.. I got to experience all this... imagine a film today with a fish dropped out the window and those comments.. gold.. nice work
Can't believe it took me over a year to see this. No weeping, but literal tears falling from my eyes whilst watching this. RIP Sir Roger; truly, Nobody Does it Better. Godspeed.
I really hope that when the next Bond film comes out in 2019, there will be an 'In Memoriam' segment at the end of the film to acknowledge Roger Moore's passing in 2017!
Were I editing the movie, I'd re-insert one of the Roger Moore 'gun barrel' sequences at the film's start with the 'In Memoriam' message to Mr. Moore. That would be a fitting way to honour him.
Having screened every Bond movie more times than I care to remember, I am totally convinced that Sir Roger Moore was James Bond, and also that "Nobody Did (Does) It Better."
Wrong David Niven passed away in 1983, Bob Simmons died in 1987, Barry Nelson died in 2007, Christopher Cazenove died in 2010, Bob Holness died in 2012.
RU-vid User, did you didn't know that George Lazenby passed away before he did, but he will be remembered for his movies of James Bond 007. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🌹🌹🌹😇😇😇😇
Bernay Hanson, the Phantom's Student I liked Lazenby. He was set up a history of Bond that made Bond...Bond. His marriage and death of the lovely Diana Riggs.
He may not have been my favorite Bond, but he holds a special place in my heart. The first James Bond movie I ever watched was Live and Let Die. I loved Roger Moore as Bond. He will be missed. Sir Roger Moore 1927-2017
I keep coming back here from time to time… Sir Roger Moore, there’ll never ever be anyone but you, you did it the best and thanks for letting us enjoy you in the films. The ultimate definition of man and Bond.
Easy charm, decisive resourceful character, winning wit, an eye for (and way with) the ladies, and refusing to take everything personally. My kinda Bond. RIP Sir Roger - you were a class act.
Moore was a true gentleman and a great role model for us all. A wonderful person and a great actor. You will always be my favorite Bond - rest in peace Sir Roger George Moore.
Rip Sir Roger Moore. My favorite James Bond movies with Sir Roger Moore are the spy who loved me and moonraker because jaws was my favorite bond villain. Thanks for posting this.😪
A marvellous tribute to a great and underrated actor. He was Bond.Even had his own hair unlike his predecessor and could the man wear a suit. Humour and sophistication. An incredible icon. A culture all of his own. Thanks Mister Moore
and I even sent him a gun barrel background with the words "In Loving Memory of Sir Roger Moore 1927-2017 in the white hole as a way to show him how even I enjoyed watching him as James Bond and the sense of humor he brought to the role
I am a Japanese 007 fan. Roger Moore was the number one James Bond of all time. I loved his acting. I'm still 18, but he moved me. I especially like For your eyes only and The spy who loved me. Thank you for your impression. Rest In Peace.
Roger Moore was my favourite Bond and I love this tribute to him. I find it sad, though, that Sean Connery died several months ago and hasn’t been afforded a similar tribute video
From Russia with Love wasn't one of his films, it was a Sean Connery movie. I'm not saying this to be a know it all or that I think you don't know this already I just thought I'd mention it JUST in case you didn't. He was my favorite Bond.
Rest in peace Sir Roger Moore. Thankyou so much for so many memories of growing up with your Bond. Easily my favoutite films in the series. It would be lovely if Sir Rogers gunbarrel intro were to be used at the start of the next film in tribute. Your portrayal of Bond will be loved by many for generations to come. Gone but never forgotten, nobody does it better will forever be the song dedicated to you. God bless and thankyou always.
This makes me sad, happy, joyfull, devastated and mostly: thankfull. It was an honor to watch your movies, listen to your audio work and seeing you do charitys. You have truely been a world treasure, rest in peace my dear Sir Roger Moore.
He was one of a kind! Nobody does it better! We miss you 007.... and yes: This SHOULD be played before the next Bond movie. He had class and humor, and was a real gentleman- even in real life!
As Much as I Love Daniel as the Current Bond, My Mom and me Have Roger as Our Favorite Bond Because of the Various Charming, Humorous and Witty Facial Expressions and Mannerisms he Brilliantly Portrayed in The Many Bond Films he was a Part Of!!! Lovely Tribute Montage Compiled for Him.. I'm Glad they Chose "Nobody Does it Better" too, a Fitting Tribute Indeed!!
Sir Roger Moore and Sean Connery, the real and best two James Bond actors for me. Two different styles but true James Bond. RIP, Mr. Moore, I have grown up with your movies and series and that was a great period for me !
