Lewis Goodall was at the Holiday Inn Express in Manvers, Rotherham as far-right demonstrators protested outside for the housing of asylum seekers.
They were met with resistance and police.

Depending on where you live, a homeless person is offered accommodation suitable for their needs but they are not obliged to accept it. Standards of accommodations for the homeless is regulated by law.

The rights of citizens of the UK is contained within the laws of the countries of the UK and by the principle of the rule of law, something you oppose. The reason you are not in a hotel is because you already have a home to live in. Unless you think that the State should pay for your holidays as well.

There is no place for "party politics", the only way forward is to scrap all political parties. M.P's should represent the people that voted for them but in reality, they represent their "party". The House of Commons appears to be divided but this is an illusion, because although they wear different colours, the truth is, they are united in a single cause, which is to keep the system going at all costs, even though it is blatantly obvious, that it is not working. I am nearly 70 and yet there have only been two referendums, one to decide if we would join the EEC as it was known as, and one to decide if we would leave the EU, as it later became known as. Although I would not deny that these were important issues, I feel that the people of Britain should have been given an opportunity to vote on other, far more important issues. We were never asked for our views regarding British involvement in American wars, we were not given the opportunity to express our views about the Poll Tax, V.A.T, housing, education, health, immigration or anything else. We will have another general election, the same parties will participate and irrespective of the outcome, nothing will change because governments serve the interests of commerce, not the people that they purport to represent.

The thing is, these people are valid in their struggles. It's not right that people get let down by life and the system, these people obviously need help with their problems. When the government say "it's not our fault you have nothing, it's the refugee's fault!" people believe them, because they're the government. People trust that we are in a democracy, that MPs have the people's interest at heart and that they tell the truth. These people are misinformed and angry, most people don't realise the government is corrupt now, they think something like that couldn't happen today. Educate don't hate, when we hate then the government's plan works

When that Holiday Inn was built the newspapers would have been full of reports about how it would help boost the local economy etc. The idea it is completely closed and now a hostel for dinghy arrivals (87% men according to Home Office stats) is a bad joke. The world population is 8 billion, Europe's population is about 450 million. based on the current definition a few billion of the 7.5 billion could qualify for asylum in Europe. It's all about what they want, what about if the people of this country don't want to share their country with large numbers of foreign men with no connection to this country. It seems if anyone objects the media portray them as concentration camp guards. 🥱

I'm not a fan of immigrants myself, but the people in this video look like council housed druggies. I'm surprised honestly. I thought chavs disappeared 10 years ago. Say what you want about immigrants, I sure do, but at least they put in the effort to get here for their benefits. What did the "people" protesting in this video do to earn their welfare? They got plopped out of their mother's vaginas at 15 and then 15 years later they had mutts of their own. Brilliant. Just what we need. More dolces. I say we cut off the welfare entirely. For everyone. No more immigrants and protestors will be forced to get jobs or starve. Well not really. They'll just commit more crime. Still though, no more immigrants.
