@Marius Ipad The bike thieves dont know that. They steal anything that looks expensive and that they can get their dirty fucking hands on. If they cant sell it, or sell it for parts they will light it on fire. A couple years ago an Audi RS6 DTM, that had been in the Gumball 3000, was stolen. As soon as the thieves realized they had a car they could do nothing with, they burnt it to the ground. That would happen too if one of these was stolen.
The insurance probably isn’t that bad actually. First year bike so the insurance companies don’t have crash history, and they will be ridden so little and likely not wrecked so not so bad for insurance.
Mad price for a bike. Is it 5 times better than a CBR1000RR or S1000RR or any of the other superbikes. A bike for non riders with too much money. Looks nice though.
It's a limited edition bike like the Honda RC213V-S. Extremely expensive and not for the everyday ride, it's more of a collectors item. You can just get V4R and do a little modifications to actually hit the track and ride without worrying about crashing a limited edition bike.
Great review, straight to the point no waffling off a spec sheet... Electronics.. Just telling us how it rides and more importantly how it makes you feel...
Larry Sweetser Ducati just a better bike.. Bristish sb, Worldsbk top 3 manufactures you see wining are( Ducati R1 and Suzuki) destroy the competition and on MotorAmerica Suzuki and R1 top contenders
You all are the first to get a review out. I've followed the SL from the 1199, which I really didn't like, the 1299 which I absolutely loved, and now this one. It's growing on me, as many have mentioned, I wonder how it'll do against the HP4 race (which is 3 years old now).
650ib bruh chilllll! Lol jk. If the numbers are right and it works, hats off to you for being in a position in your life where things in this realm are obtainable, can't wait myself but gotta make those wise moves to one day get into that position. Dare to dream... Was watching some of your videos the other day, where's the r3 brotha? Stay up, stay safe
Fantastic bike but on the road it's like taking a full set of best golf clubs to the putting green in the park ;you can never get anywhere near 50% of it's potential and a little 600cc would get you from A to B just as quick . I'm a good rider and I know that if I took this round the Mountain course section I would be no quicker than if I took a standard Pannigale /Fireblade /R1. You have to be expert standard to get the benefit out of it and even then you need a circuit to do it .
Is it so hard to understand that this is made for collectors? Ducati knows this very well, it's not meant to be ridden unless you're filthy rich and don't mind throwing away a limited edition bike
Hao Lee incredibly good value considering performance, technology, Materials etc etc . It's a Hyper bike just like Hyper cars ....which costs Millions .
In my lifetime I have read and enjoyed loads of features and tests that Adam has worked on and great for us to see this video good down to earth reporting,, enthusiastic journalist and a great motorcycle rider,, very much appreciated from Belfast Northern Ireland 👍👍☘️☘️☘️top job bike is beautiful,,
So let me get this straight....... it cost £86,000 and doesn’t come with a race exhaust.......? Sound like Ducati has taken a page out of Harleys upgrade book.
Watched a video of an exhaust fitting,, labour intensive,, probably a bit of money to get done,, but anyone buying the bike it'll probably be easily affordable,, nice motorcycle though, 😊😊👍👍☘️☘️☘️
Can someone who rode both bikes say which one is better, Ducati Superleggera V4 or Honda RC213V-S? I haven't found one single sentence with these two bikes together anywhere on the internet.
Do the front fairing wings actually help with downforce and cornering? I’m a road biker (cyclist) and I’m still trying to wrap my head the physics around it.
"I've done this job for 22 years and I'm struggling to remember a production bike that gave me the same feeling this bike does". Yeah until the next bike comes along and you'll say the same crap. I'll believe everything said about this bike when Ryan F9 reviews it
These halo bikes are for the race track. I own a 2018 Super Duke R which is already too much for the street. I own a MV agusta Dragster 800 rr Pirelli Edition for the beauty with the beast. Thought about the Streetfighter but too much horsepower for the street.
Still a hotrodded Panigale, there is only one bike worth that kind of money and it is the Honda RC213V-S, would even get it with only the 140bhp street kit over the Superleggera v4.
Beautiful bike, but a pain to watch the review. Had to turn the volume up for the talking parts and right down for the music. That was louder than the bike!
Quite an achievement and all the carbon is rather tasty, but £86,000 is ridiculous, I know most of them that are sold will be bought and put in a garage never to be used, the ones that are used will probably go to the local bike meet to show off and back home to the garage, but still... That's ridiculous for a 'road' bike.
@@ankitshelke8637 yeah but i think he is talking appearance wise, its not the best looking cos its so big, but it makes a big difference when riding definitely
Doesn't matter that it's made from exotic materials and goes like a missile, I simply cannot justify such a pricetag on a road bike. It is utter lunacy. I can purchase a really fantastic sports car for that amount of money.
@@falka6751 nope people makes the price tag. If its too much money for what it is and because of that nobody really interested in, then price tag go down as fast as this bike and its not magic as you know, its just economics and by the way if they have to drop the price tag because of low demand even then they are going to make a lot of profit and one last thing about the video you should understand is this bike is not a fuckin go to Shop easy driving toy that you can toss around, its a fuckin street moto gp bike but offcourse these guys are paid workers for things like this. Keep that in mind.
The v4s's 1100cc engine did not fit the regulation for WSBK. So Ducati decreased the stroke and increased the red line, hence putting out more power at the top end, also losing about 10-12nm of torque in the process. The 1100cc engine is more street friendly ( I mean it really isn't but when compared to the 1000cc v4r, it is).
Feel no shame fellow Supersport rider, our backs and butts thank us on any ride longer than 10 minutes that isn’t a prepared surface. Confirmed by every other member of my DOC chapter on a Panigale.
I'd ask for the 'TT racer, professional road tester, significantly faster than me' style if I ever went to the barbers again. I just cut my own though, so go for the 'too tight and lazy to get a hairstyle, so hack it all off'. John
No. Event though we've not tested them back to back it's unlikely the standard production 200bhp ZX-10RR that is built to certain regulations will give the 234bhp Superleggera that is almost a one-off build with no rules much competition. We'd love to find out though!
