We thought we have lost FINN. The first doctor who diagnosed him refused to offer FIP treatment. FINN was given antibiotics and anti-inflammatories to ease the pain. We were told two choices, either to euthanise him or let him slowly suffer a painful death.
We had our doubts and called another clinic in town. They told us of an experimental antiviral FIP treatment. It was our choice if we want to give it a try. Of course, we want to save FINN. The second clinic sent a team of doctors and took FINN from the first clinic in an oxygen box, and they began treating him right away with experimental antiviral treatment. Within a few days FINN's condition began to improve.
Sadly, we had to quarrel with the first doctor and clinic over the treatment. I will not name them, but hope they will change their ways. Some doctors are more helpful than others. It is our luck that we contacted the right doctors who were willing to do whatever to save our cat. We owe them our gratitude and patronage.
