First and foremost, I thank you and your mom. I have been following you and I thank you again for spreading love amongst the two sisterly nations. In addition, the slogan of that year's parade was ' shebab sawa I love you Eritrea'. Each year cadets carry a distinct slogan. Furthermore, sawa is an academic, vocational as well as military establishment whereby every Eritrean youth from all corners of the nation would spend their final year of high school. The youth would spent one year in sawa to complete the final of high school as well as get trained in Eritrean military doctrine, vocational training also learn to be responsible and productive members of society. The cadets would write the high school leaving national exam in sawa and those that earned the required passing grade will be accepted into the colleges while those with lower grade will be given the option to either challenge the exam on the coming year or enroll into the vocational school situated in sawa. That my young brother is what sawa is all about in a nutshell. Again, keep up the good work and I do like your personality. I hope you will visit Eritrea sometime soon.

We had an Ethiopian government official in Asmara renting some rooms as a tenant in our house, a very polite gentleman we used to call him Baba Asefa. Every time he went back to his family in Addis Abeba visit them, he used to bring as a gift from his parents kocho, sugar cane and some speciality from his region with special notice a gift from his parents. When he was transferred back to Addis and left Eritrea we were very sad. War is ugly but Eritreans try to keep good memories, let heal the wounds and look forward for peaceful coexistence.

But by default people use to communicate using Tigrina. So as you mentioned the secret of Eritrean unity is on respect one another irrespective of the individual religious believes. So Ethiopians please respect each other in order to grow together with love an harmony. Love is our slogan and respect is our Eritrean moto.
