​@@c.wright3750 the wash is the wave caused by the ship. If you drive too fast you produce a large wash. Not good for other boats.

My son Alex and his wife Katie got married there too. It is Mr Selfridge's country pile, the views across to the Isle Of Wight are stunning and the castle and grounds are beautiful.❤

I sooooo enjoyed that series on the 'first department store in England' started by an American ...the blonde actress was so charming & humble. I wonder if Anna or her parents know what the words (in stone) are at the top of the roof? Possibly in Latin? I saw the word 'Terra' which is close to my name 'Tara' & "Ave Maria" (Immaculata ?) Anyway it leads me to think that was definitely a part of a cathedral or monastery dedicated to the Virgin Mary. How elegant their wedding looked My daughter is a wedding planner in California in the mountains above Santa Barbara. I'm going to share this video with her. ~Tara

@@Motherhubbard170 as a local I can say with confidence that where this beach hut is located (it’s called Hengistbury Head for those who are curious) is incredibly out of the way and not at all practical to get to, even in the height of summer it’s the quietest strip of beach in the BCP area. Still doesn’t justify that price tag tho

Some bits of Highcliffe are at Hearst castle. It was sadly left to ruin and much sold off. It's still beautiful, but lots more restoration to be done.
