I don't mean to toot my own horn but he throws it almost exactly like I do at my 10s. Very different in everything else though and whole lot better haha.
I would love to see Osku throw spares 1 handed against Mitch but I mean it would only be fitting to get Anthony Neuer to bowl against Mitch on a 7-10 challenge!
So now that the string pins are there, is the center going to install all of the other carnival games? Maybe they can put in the smaller diameter basketball hoop and the ladder climb.
Even on the bounciest normal pinsetters/backwalls you couldn't predictably make the 7-10 as predictably and consistently as this. I will say it's more exciting when you do it on non-strings though. I've done it ONE TIME in a real game, but 7 times total including when I would set them up
Wow! I have only made the 7 - 10 split once in my 41 years of bowling! It still takes a good amount of speed to make it on strings, but it definitely looks more possible. I have to re-watch the Mitch Hupe 7 - 10 split video from a while back
Packs needs to come clean and tell the public that those string pins are NOT certified. This kind of action does not happen on certified strings. Giving the public misinformation for YT content is painting a bad image and unreal expectations. I invite you to come to FL a bowl on certified and do your video. You won’t make one out of 100 shots. You won’t get any messengers either. WSU strings are way longer than the certified strings.
@@wunderlichx you may think so,but you better get ready for them. Certified strings look nothing like this or any video you’ve seen. Oh you see abominations on both. They’re just different abominations.4 weeks into certified strings, average went down one pin. They save the business’ money. Big money. 10 years all will be converted. Hey, no bad racks either.
@@leechaney3703 No matter how closely they fine tune the length to try to emulate pin action, strings will always be different from free fall, that's physics. Even if the scoring averages out, it can't be the same. Bowling centers have managed to operate for decades with pinsetters. If they no longer can then maybe they need to grow real interest in the sport, not cater to the casual house ball throwing masses with a cheap imitation. String pin simps can get stuffed.
I don't necessarily hate string pins, but in my opinion, string pin bowling should only be a recreational activity, not for tournaments or league play. As for who I think Mitch should have a 'friendly' 7-10 string pin competition with, I'd go with either Brad or Kyle, or a doubles competition with Mitch and Packy vs. Brad and Kyle. 😄
Straight and simple: if I walk into a bowling center and they have string pins, I get back into my car and try to find a center with free fall pins. I can adapt to different oil patterns. I enjoy buys who bowl no thumb or bowl 2 handed, although I am a traditional righty. But I draw the line at string pins. If I have to bowl string pins (because they save the center some money in maintenance costs and such) I will just stay home and do video bowling. Is it like real bowing? No. But, to me, neither is string pins bowling. Fake, fake, fake.
I think this video needs to be sent to the USBC idiots that certified strings. The way those pins get jerked around in midair is absolutely disgusting, and not in the "but I'm jealous" sort of way. It's just actually terrible.
thou shall not use God's name in vain that is the weirdest 710 split that I've ever seen that should have fell but did not fall on the the other guy not packy first try
I’d like to see Osku vs Mitch from the place they shot the original 7-10 video. They are both fun to watch. A string pin video might be a short video with those two.
Packy do u think string pins will eventually take over and be used in sanctioned bowling i honesty hope not but whats your opinion i think they should be used on 1 side for people to use for fun and not leagues
Won't ever happen because of the interaction with the taut strings pulling the pins around (exactly what they are doing here...) It would be like changing the pga to play a tournament on a trackman simulator...
And this is exactly why string pens should be banned and removed from any bowling center, despite USBC saying they're sanctioned? Talk about an incomplete joke! Converting the 7:10 is about 1 in 150000 according to the odds that was calculated I found several times. There's a reason for that, and it is that it's supposed to be hard. The string pins make it a complete and total unreasonable joke. So this proves ultimately and conclusively that pain carry with string pins cannot be trusted, is going to make the game way too easy, and it should never be used for anything meaningful.
the youtube channel WIRED has a made a video that goes into greater detail on this, but your calculations are nowhere near correct. the chance of converting a 7-10 is around 7/1000 (or 0.7%) not 1/150000. i can link you to it if you're interested in knowing more!
Hey y'all, as someone who hasn't bowled in at least 15 years, and is looking to get into the sport more as an almost 30y/o... this looks jank. Love that I found this channel. Strings look like a terrible idea and idk what is the purpose of their introduction?
maintenance on normal pinsetter machines is too expensive (apparently) we've been using the same pinsetter tech for a VERY long time so i have no idea why we can't just design something newer and better.
I have stopped using bowling shoes because I want to stop at the line so I use tennis shoes but still even with tennis shoes another thing I don't fell good about my approach is my steps: nither bowling shoes or tennis shoes I feel are NOT flexible enough they are too stiff. I'm thinking bowl in my bare feet but I have NOT done that yet or use the gymnastics shoes/slippers or I guess they call them dace shoes. they are really fixable shoes/slippers.
