Tim when using a post rammer, lift from the bottom of the handles and on the dien stroke loosen your hands so the rammer goes down under its own weight and you don't get the shock through your arms of it hitting the post 💪👍

It may not be suitable but as a short term solution for the water a wolfcraft drill pump might be a good option to get the water out of the brook to the trough. If not suitable for this I can see it being very useful around the farm for emptying water troughs etc.

Honestly the best channel on youtube at the moment.. When the pigs came back I was hoping for a velociraptor scene through the grass. Drone footage once a week would be super nice to see of how much they get through. Dependent on what you're planning on doing with that area will inform what you throw in after the pigs, I'd be tempted to look at nitrogen fixing crop or grass just to cover it over, grass pea or similar would be good or similar to use as supplemental animal feed in the future (once you get through the mountain of bales) - Also, If you don't have a land management consultant I'd look into it, the way it looks like you plan to use the land you are in the perfect spot to make use of a lot of the new grants coming through in Ag and you'd probably get some really good ideas for other small things to look into in the future (lodges etc.)

Tim with regards to pulling water from the stream have a look at building a ram pump.They are simple to build, maintenance free and free to run 24/7.If you have time have a look at a you tube channel called land to house he has built plenty.Loving the channel and the content

I think that you should get a bigger brush cutter. I’ve got the stihl fs460c and never let me down ,very powerful ,gets the job done very quick. You won’t regret it!

Other varieties of pigs whose ears are not drooped in front of their eyes are better at eating the grasses as opposed to rooting the ground. Nothing wrong with these - I just prefer other breeds. All can be quite gentle and really do have a startling amount of intelligence.

Why not set up a webcam so that everyone can enjoy the exploits of the pigs in real-time? Useful for security and just in case any of them get into trouble. A form of crowdsourcing that could also be monetised if so desired.

Please don't take this the wrong way and maybe I have missed something. But why are you spending so much time on the land and live stock? Especially when it could be used on the accommodation build? I totally get you have a duty to upkeep the land and indeed improve it. But? Again please don't take this as a negative. I love your videos and the whole journey.
