I created this video show that Aleksander Barkov has been one of the best 2 way centres in the NHL for the past 9 seasons. Barkov doesn't get recognized enough for his amazing consistency throughout his NHL Career. He is a big reason that the Florida Panthers have become one of the best teams in the NHL and have another chance to contend for the Stanley Cup. Aleksander Barkov does it all for the Florida Panthers and is one of the most complete players in the NHL.

I think, the greatest and most overlooked part of Barkov is that he elevates everyone else around him. Take Verheagy, before Barkov and after Barkov as teammate. Huberdeau? Reinhart? I mean all of those players are beasts in their own right, but I think it's Barkovs ability to read his linemates so well that he can elevate their game to next level

Barkov will win the Selke but the best defensive centre on that team has been Lundell through the season.

Barkov is amazing but no. I mean, he's somewhere upwards of 20th place in takeaways, behind the leader Barzal and many others like Malkin, Draisaitl, Matthews, and Tuch
