Finally someone I agree with . This 'choco ball' is obv referring to his skin .... can they just stop .. why do they always tell him he is not as fair as them ? they all look really pale , Haechan's skin tone for once is like normal ppl . If anything, he looks sexy with it, only few members of NCT have like a real sex appeal to their presence. Do they only get to look down upon him bcoz of such a petty thing as melanin, bcoz lets be real, this guy is one of the pillars of NCT dream . I only knew abt dream through Haechan after I became a fan of NCT127 . I am pretty sure, that by now members definitely know this topic of colorism is not a joke and needs to be dealt with sensibly, yet they do it . JUST STOP ALREADY. At least he hasn't been under the knife like a lot of members in the team (eg. Yuta with his chin, Ten with his nose etc.).. he is being himself, that speaks a lot about how confident he is abt himself & his skills , esp in an industry where insecurities due to physical features are very easy to kick in.

I agree about Jisung's comment, but I don't think that Jaemin at least meant for it to be anything other than a term of endearment for Haechan.

The thing is the dreamies sometimes go overboard with their jokes a lot but I don’t think they meant to refer the nickname to Haechan’s skin tone. Jaemin was the first to give the nickname to him and I think he meant to imply that Haechan’s rounded cheek and faces too that he looks like a chocoball. Don’t think too hard guys, they’re all friends so if Haechan was feeling uncomfortable, he would have told them behind the scene to not call him that way. So I believe he seem to like that nickname too.
