Absolutely! I'm definitely a fan of the 35" scale. The55-01, has an excellent feel and tone. The feel is what had me first. Great finger spacing; not narrow or tightly spaced. The addition of the Bartolini electronics sealed the deal when it came to the tone and sound. And the 55-01 is just the entry level model. The 55-02 might very well be the most versatile bass I've ever played. I'm currently using one of those models now. What can I say? Lakland makes great instruments. :)
