We rented a lovely Fiat and went to the fascinating city of Matera, where time seems to have stopped in a centuries-old era. Here we stayed in some old traditional caves, which house a rich history. Next, we ventured to the town of Polignano a Mare, a hidden gem on the Adriatic coast with spectacular views and a bohemian atmosphere.
