In todays episode we get one of the fields cultivated ready for a drilling, we progress into the next day of September, give the cows a top up of food & straw and get our first seeds into the soil!

Love the vids! this is my fav series on youtube to watch so keep em coming! however for the leveling you can get auto drive to roll and flatten the pit for you as the worker comes and goes with loads (just if you didn't know).

Hiya, really great film sequences, I could watch them for hours. During the tours, the camera sometimes moves back and forth a little too quickly for me. I also moved away from the narrowness of the village. However, the chic designer cowshed was a little too expensive for me ;) , so I moved to the chicken farm grounds. I don't have any chickens yet, as the feed silo is just as special as the wood delivery at the sawmill. Thank you very much for your great and informative videos.

Great video, as always, sir. And I’m loving that seeding rig on the fabulous 1050 Totally respect your work, and your prerogative to play the way that you wish, but personally I would be really happy to see you try something other than the Courseplay skip row option. It just doesn’t look natural to me, I’m afraid. But - with that one possible exception - please keep doing what you do. Top quality content every time 👍🏼

Thankyou Fallguy! So glad you enjoyed the video! Yeh I appreciate where you’re coming from mate. I tend to do the skip 1 row function as I feel it helps tractors that don’t have a great turning circle to run smoother whilst in the fields. Smaller tractors work fine but with big whoppers like the 1050 and its twin wheels I find it just helps them a bit at the end of each row :)

Great episode, Farmer Sim. Is there any reason for leaving the two tree islands in the combined grass fields? Nice bit of drilling, and the cows are doing a bit of gymnastics over straw blower, haha. Look forward to the next instalment. Well done.

Hey buddy! Yeh I’d kept the ‘islands’ in the field as they’ve both got wooden retaining walls in, so wouldn’t really be able to smooth it off like I’d want to :)
