For our 3am flight from New York to El Salvador on Avianca Airlines, we went to the airport 6 hours in advance to experience JFK airport at midnight

Ohh...at the end ,your boys were a bit tiered ,too ,I could tell ! Lol. I love airports at night ,though ! But,tiring ,too ! Lol. I prefer night flights than morning flights as I am nocturnal. LOL 😆 How did that little bird end up inside the airport !? 💜

Fun fact, there are many birds who live inside airports. Yet it always surprises us when we see birds inside the gate area.

On July 3rd 2024 My Amtrak Cardinal 50 to Philadelphia, I had to be at Cincinnati Union Terminal by at least 2 AM. My train doesn't depart by 3:37 AM. However, my train was like 30 minutes to arrive at Cincinnati left at 4:08 AM. I think I was supposed to arrive in Philadelphia at 8:51 PM. Now running 2 hours late at 11:03 PM by the High Temperature that the Train had to go slow between DC to Philly, On August 7th My Amtrak Cardinal 51 to Cincinnati, I had to be at Philadelphia 30th Street by at least 7 AM My Train don't depart at 8:15 AM Not Arriving at Cincinnati at 1:31 AM however we arrive 2 minutes late, which is not bad.

Yes we do have Precheck. But the TSA pre-check closed at 9pm.

Nice video! Love the JFK travels. Also if you visit the Chase Sapphire Lounge a lot, you can add an authorized user to the Sapphire Reserve for $75 a year to get a 2nd authorized user card who can enter and also bring in two more guests every time rather than paying $27 a visit for your third guest!

Thank you so, so, so, much for posting a video showing overnight at JFK. I will arrive there close to midnight but my connecting flight leaves around 7am the next day. There is no point getting a hotel. Thank you for showing that it is safe enough to be there with 2 children.

Yes the late night/early morning flights are definitely unique, especially so many of them. And yes, these flight times are not for everyone. It was tough but we enjoyed the experience
