I was part of the dump truck crew importing dirt to make that lot. I got my CDL through Taylor Driving school. Ed Taylor has passed away and the school trucks are up for auction. Sad to see the school close permanently.

I love these roaming around the auction lot videos. I'd like to roam around myself and I'm not even in the market for anything.

That JD 450 are good little cats/ dozers, those ears on the top corners of the blade for a ''' clearing rake''' wich are very useful especially if you get a job to clear or clean up a lot. The blade control T handle joints under neith handle get worn out then gets real sloppy. It sounded really good.On some of them they have a preheat position on the key like the old CATs or even a individual switch.Good little cat especially with the 6 way blade, #1 up #2down #3tilt & #4 tilt, #5angle left#6 angle right

I think Bobby would look good in that Pete heavy haul even if he would only use it for a gooseneck. That is a nice truck but it is going to go for a pretty penny 😮!!!!! Thanks for the vid!!!❤

Alot kool heavy construction machinery was @ auction Dauminquie like yellow old Pete semi first truck in video also the bright orange Kubota UTV & red black guessing it was sky lift machine one u got in @ end Dauminquie had a little trouble coming down steps.

Your auction vids remind me of a couple months ago......stopped at a dealers lot.....already have two pickups.......thinking do I really need another? Still drooling about my #3, Silverado dbl cab, k1500 in Brownstone Metallic. Reason why I usually don't stop......I guess I really didn't (did) need a third. Probably sell 98 k1500 ex cab. Maybe not, sharp rig orig cond., only costs about 800 per yr to keep. Parking is the problem. Now, you two youngsters (I'm 78) dream big....keep on trucking. The Pete is awesome! Bobby is singing....Sugar sugar......this is the candy store.....

Thank you for the Walk around. We brought a Fire Engine to their Yard a Year ago. It had a major Leak, broken plumping on the pump piping. Don't feel intimidated by the CAT Grader. Of all the Levers TWO are for each side of the mold board (Blade) . Lots of times the extra Levers are for a ripper and swinging blade way left or Right. Usually you are only using the TWO Levers to grade. If you want to PLAY for a day on a backhoe, learn about RUNNING one. Bring your kids to my home. I will TEACH you digging tech. Your kids can play on my 1971 SeaGrave Engine. I got it just for kids to get in. I will show it at the local Farmers market in the summer. Last year we had the Red Robin mascot ride on the back at the kids parade. I have done Local Parades in my area, you and your kids can Ride on her, Dump truck Girl. Could even Drive my Engine. It is a 5 speed Spicer/ Dana Transmission. So you would be right at home, if you are used to manual shifting in the Dumps. But anyway if your interest can show you teach you backhoe operations, sense you would like to just do that for one afternoon.

Letsdig 18 would love to have that motor grader lol on top of all the other heavy duty excavators he has .

Regarding the search for manual transmissions- I have a friend who’s similar to Dominque. He’s only ever driven muscle cars with a 4-speed. Claims that he doesn’t know how to drive an automatic transmission 😅.

On an R.V, the first thing to inspect for quality, integrity ect. Is the FRAME! 😱

Best to make sure you're in neutral before you let the clutch out. If the parking brake is on you'll kill the engine.

What is that constant beeping? Also... She doesn't allow him to think before she asks questions or gives her opinion. And some of it is just stupid. For example, that one locked camper, she tried to open it and said; 🧐"it's locked, we have to get the keys".😵‍💫 Really? Truly?.... If a 'freaking' door is locked, you need keys? Wowsers, and what do you think?🤯 Does he, more than likely, already know that? Just watching the guy, it's obvious that he knows his way around trucks, or that type of equipment. Therefore, I would trust his judgment. Give him room to think before opening your mouth. Now... This could have been an educational video. Starting with the first truck. Both of them could explain why they are there and what they are looking and listening for, when examining a truck before they bid on it at that auction. Also, is there a particular brand of truck that would be considered a good buy because of its reputation. And then explain the approximate amount of money they would have to invest in that particular truck. Simply by eyeballing it. And that's about it when you are at an auction. Ya... They are not going to allow you to take the vehicle apart to examine it thoroughly. Also, is there particular brand of truck, to avoid, that you don't want to invest into because they have nothing but mechanical issues. Or it just falls apart over time. These are the kinds of videos I like seeing when it comes to auctions involving trucks and cars.
