I fed my kids off Royal Doulton Bunnykins and Wedgwood Peter Rabbit. Good porcelain hold up pretty well. So I think you should keep the Tiffany baby dish.

Your stone grapes look like dyed alabaster. Baccarat is speaking my language. I believe that you will see around 100 dollars for the dolphin. Made in France, the company is a couple of hundred years old. They made crystal stemware for nearly every royal house in Europe. The czars of Russia used a 16 inch tall wine goblet for toasting. One drink and the goblet was smashed in the fireplace for good luck. Tiffany has an interesting story also. The reason why this lamps are now so rare is because when the style fell out of favor, they were literally set outside on the curb to be thrown away. This time also coincided with WWI and the metal was needed by the military. People literally smashed the glass out for the price of the scrap metal. The same thing happened to all of their pieces that used metal such as inkwell sets.

I used to make apple faces with my Grandma. Great memories. You would peel it, carve it and then just set it somewhere and let it shrivel up and dry out.

at 6:43 yes it appears to be Roseville Imperial II they were marked with a sticker. Found a green glaze one in the Collector's Encyclopedia of Roseville Pottery volume 2 by Sharon & Bob Huxford and Mike Nickel. Item is on page 100, Plate 126, Row 1

When my kids were little we tried making those dried Apple faces. I just peeled an apple and carved general facial features, then set it on the windowsill. As dried, it started getting all of these little wrinkles and looking like an old person‘s face. It was so fun and the kids really liked it.

Dried Apple Granny reminds me of the Insidious demon that came back with that kid. My sister made one 40+ years ago. I believe we threw it out as it died it got more and more lifelike and creepier and creepier. Yours is very old.

Where I live in a small city in Australia, we only have barely a handful,of Goodwill stores. I popped into one today and was shocked at the prices. No thrifting bargains there. Here, like many of the major thrift stores, basically trade as pseudo antique shops. They sell vintage pieces at comp prices. ☹️ You’re so lucky.

I really found the identification of your purchases at the auction very interesting. I'm not a fan of antique store videos (for some reason) or live videos. Maybe my ADD coming out in my old age. Always appreciate the education and love watching your thrifting! I spotted a pair of boy and girl chalk ware figures that are part of a collection I have and some blue and white stuff I would love. The lighthouse could be made by Gills Rock Stoneware pottery Thor in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin. Very similar to his design. Even down to the can of lightning oil. His light houses normally sell around 48.00 for small up to 72 retail for bigger. I have a few I’ve bought from him and then thrifted. He has a website and his pottery is amazing.

The white Kosta Boda vase (Bertil Vallien) is problably subgrade, if it’s not signed. If it has as white Kosta Boda sticker that also indicates subgrade.
