My "trick" for getting the kid to wear sunglasses: "I'm the mommy, put your sunglasses on and leave them on OR you can go back inside. You're choice". Worked every time for me....
Tips for getting kids to wear sunglasses! You can find a picture of one of the Kid's favourite characters wearing sunglasses and show them, they might want to wear them more to be like their favourite character. Also because the Tracker family goes to Disney fairly regularly, you could always ask a Disney character when you meet them or ask the cast member helping a mascot a leading question such as "Hey Mickey, we are learning about how sunglasses protect our eyes in the bright sun. Do you wear sunglasses, Mickey?" I'm positive the cast members and characters will 100% back you up on that one!
Seeing Tim and Jackson play in the waves reminded me of my grandpa and I doing the same when I was young. We would come up with names for each wave as they would come at us. Usually something like “big whopper”, “double decker sundae” or “two scoops” for smaller waves. It was so much fun ❤ Good memories

Happy Anniversary! I'm glad you were able to put the camera down for most of the trip and just enjoy the time with family. I know personally that even though we as an audience love seeing you all hang out and play together, we do want you all to enjoy this moment in time together. as for Jackson and sun glasses he either will like them or not. I didn't as a kid and now that I wear glasses I really can't wear them any ways. Some kids just don't like things on their faces.

As a kid I always liked wearing happy colorful sunglasses instead of boring basic ones. Maybe you can find some shades with Jackson’s favorite character on them. Then find them in the park and ask them if they like wearing sunglasses when it’s bright. I’m sure they’ll say yes then you can have Jackson wear the shades and ask how they like them on him

The part with Tim and Jackson in the ocean and choppy waves brought me straight back to my childhood with my dad who grew up in Orange County, California. Whenever we would go on vacation to a beach he would take me out just like Tim did with Jackson and he would affectionately call the waves "jumpers" and we would jump "over" the waves. I'm an ophthalmic tech that has worked with kids, and best recommendations I have for getting Jackson to wear sun protection is to let him pick out his favorite pair, make sure they fit comfortably and tell him over and over how cool he looks! Also, start early with Oliver and he'll just come to realize it's part of Florida life😊.
I usually do the night-before checkout, so much easier and less to worry about! And I love going back home at night so I can do the laundry the next morning. That house is gorgeous! Those donuts looked delicious and that house was gorgeous. The interior design details were incredible. We’ve lived in Florida for 15 months and haven’t ventured out of the theme park bubble, but this has influenced us! Happy belated anniversary ❤

I JUST bought that blow up toddler bed for my daughter's trip to her grandparents'. She has officially grown out of her pack n play 😢 she's excited about her new bed though!

Went to Manatee beach on the island last week on the recommendation of a Floridian i played golf with (i'm from UK) And was not disappointed. An absolutely stunning place that looks like a Caribbean beach and I'll be returning next summer.
Lol….funny story. I am over 30 and got a tiny piece of sand stuck in my eye for 5 days from being on a beach in Hawaii. had to have it removed by an ophthalmologist. Sometimes it still happens when you’re older! (I was also wearing my sunglasses lol) maybe I’m just unfortunately sand-in-eye prone 😅 all that to say, I now quote Anakin Skywalker’s all-time famous line often 😂 Happy (belated) anniversary!

When I was young, around Jacksons age, my uncle got me a bucket hat with sunglasses built in.....they were on the lighter side, I gave in because the hat was from New York City. 😂 Now I love them.

That was a beautiful beach house! Looked like you enjoyed yourselves! It was so windy in the beach 💨. Jackson is a great swimmer😊so funny that he liked the pool better than the beach, but the saltwater can be quite overwhelming when you accidentally get a mouthful
I've very late with watching this video but this looks like big rentals you find at Jersey Shire towns like Avalon, Stone Harbor and Ocean City. I clean rentals like this in the Summer and always fantasize about hitting the lottery and owning one but I do enjoy them when I'm visiting!

We stayed in a very similar house on Siesta Key last Christmas week. We didn't have an elevator this time, but we did have a pool slide that looked like it was made out of rock. Jackson would have loved it!
I know the original owners of this house. They were my neighbors for years. The family that owned that house were from Michigan. They were the best neighbors I ever had. When the mother passed a couple a years ago they had to let the property go. I'm sure they would be happy to know that other families are enjoying the home that brought them years of happiness.
