Chad, you are such a gentle, warm and friendly soul. It's really refreshing to see someone like you on RU-vid. And you so deserve your lovely wife. Given those parents, no wonder your kids turned out so great! Thanks for taking us along mate. Greetings from Germany!
Thank you, Chad's Fab team for providing a source of entertainment for an old retired guy (and maybe a few other people, lol). I am enjoying watching all the activity generated by the Offroad Wrecker Olympics, great job!
@@Doogie_Causey yes they are. But I thought I heard in one episode they Chad was also his cousin? Maybe from a different parent? Heck I don’t know lol I just love to watch them all.
That's one of the ways you know Chad is an old soul. Patience and temperance like that only comes from many lifetimes of learning... His latest turn on the Hamster Wheel we call life is just his soul teaching the rest of us valuable lessons if we will only listen. Listen closely, Padawan. You will learn something very valuable if you do...
It's awesome to see your subscribership jumping, Chad! I'm happy for you and your family and hope you have many years of success! Thank you for the good vibes and soul-nurturing way you conduct yourself. You are an amazing old soul and everyone around you is more fortunate than they truly know... Blessings.
Love the buss bar utilization, we build campervans and use them for battery linking and at distribution points, really the best way. Also, funny how these guys are turning you into their wiring guru, yet your fab skills are way beyond. I give ‘em the creativity, but clean precise fab you guys do it well.
It's cool to see you guys doing this stuff for Paul in your own shop! It's awesome how you've been able to help people on site, but your own shop, your own tools, your own space, etc. Just neat to see you guys in your element.
Chad, your ability to manage electronics simply amazes me. Your attention to detail and presentation are as good or better than anyone else I watch on YT. Amazing how well everyone works together is great. Keep up the good work and videos!!
"I appreciate your work Chad...being a retired Elec. Contractor who specialized in Power Distribution & Machine Control, I can see the 90% of things going on in your head that nobody else realizes...you engineer it and can see it being installed, anticipate trouble and watch the project morph as it develops...right down to the start up. At times it's a challenging job as you have to keep a step ahead of all the 'helping hands' in the crew...anticipate their needs in material and have all that ready as the project matures. That said...I think you & I would get along just fine. We know these fabricators can build anything but if they want a 'SOUL in the MACHINE' they're going to be knocking on our door! Well done...charlie"
I do the same...only work alone. Then my wife wonders why things take so long. Then I remind her how long people spend planning a 1 day event like a wedding or a... she has learned not to argue with my analogies haha
I can't say that I find the whole video thrilling, but the level of quality, craftsmanship, and documentation of the end product makes this engineer very satisfied!
Really like the working approach. Chad sets the overall plan at a high level. The guys work out the best way to do it then get Chad to verify before going too far. Chad is relaxed and agreeable. Very little tension in the shop with so many people. I know there could be tension off camera but you would sense it.
It’s cool that Chads Fab is known for being the wiring experts, especially on these off road wreckers. It really says a lot because Matt and his crew , and Paul and his crew are super capable mechanics , fabricators , and troubleshooters , and they build these awesome one off rigs, but when it comes to wiring , they want it done 100 percent PROPER so they leave it up to Chad and his crew to do an awesome job. That’s pretty cool. Thanks for sharing
All the big dogs come here, I love to watch this man work. So quiet and insightful and literally nobody can get it done without him! I enjoyed watching this one.
You guys are awesome. Family working together. That’s wonderful. Love all of y’all. Mom is a blessing. I know she is very Much appreciated and loved. God bless ❤️🙏🙏👍👍❤️
Another Aspirin Project for Ya ! Wiring is always a Tedious Project ! Mounting/Rub Protection with proper .. I am so GLAD to be Retired but love to watch the process . Because it isn't me doing it. Thanks for Sharing. Looking forward to seeing the finish . Don't let the Magic Smoke Out !
So nice to see you helping Paul get the Rat Rod Wrecker wired up. You guys do amazing work! Always a joy to watch true professionals do their thing! Thanks!
The organization of the wiring harnesses and junction boxes is a brilliant reflection of the inner thought processes of your brain Chad. I hope Paul will be installing interior fenders to protect all the beautiful wiring from mud that the tires inevitably will kick up.
Awesome project, and hopefully Utah will make razor blades legal again for guys under 50...the Soggy Bottom Boys called - they want their roadies back... Can't wait to see how it all turns out. Thanks for sharing...
I'm sure Chad and the Crew have got this. They figured out Matt's Wrecker's multiple winch problems easily, this and the hydraulic steering won't be an issue for these highly capable mechanics!
We watch Matt, Paul, Rory and Robbie. But really enjoy you, your team and family. We are a fan of Wild Wonderful off grid and the knowledge Josh and you guys are remarkable. When it comes to electrical you guys are very good at what you do! Thanks for another great video! 🤠🧑🦰🌲🌲🌲 🎼
Each one of these projects you guys take is a mayor production with lots of complicated choices and possible areas for trouble. Well done guys. Great to see the entire family working together.
You all should have t-shirts made and call y'all selves the wiring Wizards because what you guys do is amazing. So glad I found your channel through Paul's Channel. Stay safe and God bless. Tony
I'm totally impressed with ppl who do electronics. I get lost just trying to make a harness for an electric guitar. YOu guys are incredible! God Bless and be safe!
At 60 I have never chosen the reality of raising a child; but, any kid that can whip out 'counterintuitive', anywhere in the ballpark of correct usage, is ok in my books. I had to Google it to spell it. The chap the boy was speaking to at the time has a good soul. First time watcher from Matt's.
Awesome talents you and your family have. And also a shout-out to Dusty and Corbin and there talent also. Not sure if they are family or employees. Thanks for the entertainment
We love watching the Chad's Fabs Team doing the impossible for most of us wiring these tow trucks to expert standards. They definitely have a lot of fun and put it in the video for us to see. Can't wait for the next video to check on the progress.
Wow, you guys are awesome in the work you do. I'm getting excited to see everything come together and finally work like there supposed too. Haha great job and what a wonderful family you have Chad.
I gotta say, I truly enjoy watching your videos because you guys and gal are open. You don't hold back so not to offend anyone. Reminds me of me, speak without worry. You don't see that much on RU-vid and for that I thank y'all for being you. Looking forward to seeing many more videos from Chads Fab
You guys are killing it on the wiring harness for all the wreckers. I wished I live out that way .because I would send you my jeep grand cherokee wj for the wiring to be done
I really like the asides where you explain and teach. Just the little comment about "anything over 6g wire being battery cable". It's fun to learn and be entertained at the same time.
Love watch Chad and crew take on a new challenge!! I would sure love to see an occasional detail segment on how you terminate your connections and such. Love your content!
I am so amazed at your skill and talents wiring up the wreckers. Note to Chad.. Bring a test light to the games. LOL. But I truly am impressed with your skills and attention to detail. But when you let the smoke out of the table I sorta wondered!! Hydraulic issues. Paul has an open vs closed valve issue. When they are both hooked up at the same time the pressure bypasses through the one not used. I know little but I caught that. In electric terms, diode kinda. Great show!
I'm very envious of how your family all works together so well. My brother doesn't want me in his shop because I'm always wrong and I have to leave mine if he stops over to borrow tools. I leave and tell him to honk when he leaves so I can get back to work when he is gone. Two thumbs up for Chad,s Fab and crew! Proud to be one of your 60K subscribers. Kevin.
You and your team are the best I've ever seen at wiring a vehicle!!! It always amazes me how you are able to keep up with everything and where it goes.
One suggestion. The power buss block mounted to the frame inside of the right front wheel. Mount it at a 45 degree angle then the leads coming from the cab go on the back side and the leads going to the front can come off the front of the block.
Man, everyone needs a chads fab friend. You guys are excellent. Everyone wants your knowledge, but it takes a long time to learn everything you have figured out in a lifetime. I love this channel.
A cheap solution for cable tie down points is tack welding one side of a large washer to the frame and bending it up to allow the tie to pass through it
MORR and Fab Rats both fabricate amazing, super capable vehicles - BUT - if it weren’t for Chad and his crew they wouldn’t have properly tuned engine computers and other electrical goodies. Watching Chads Fad is every bit as entertaining as watching Matt and Paul fabricate. Really enjoy your channel!
Good 😊 Jerb... but what do I know... always amazed at how you'all just jump in a get' r done... I would have to spend days planning and re-planning to ensure everything was in the best possible position for durability and usability... but then again, I'm a perfectionist and NOT a "Rat-Rod" type builder... but I'm really liking the STYLE and relaxed 😎 attitude about looks 👀 and a direct focus on function. Thanks 🙏🏻 for sharing... Love ❤️ your SHOW
