Be careful with the sound boards on the generator - unless it is quite cool there now it will build up heat and fry your generator. Better to put it on the other side of the shed, using the shed as the sound buffer.

You are really making progress. It’s very exciting. You guys need to make some kind of zipline (LOL) that will have a carrier for moving things from the top of the hill down to your place. Even if it’s manual that you pull the line, it may be easier than carrying all the building materials. Although you are getting stronger by doing it manually and you are certainly getting cardio with walking up and down that hill. No need for working out at a gym for all of you. Take care. Can’t wait for next video to see how far you get on the house.

Audio is much better this week. Keep crushing it and getting 1% better each week. Not to much longer and you will have the A-Frame up. Great work!

Rodrigo young man, I am the age of your grandparents and want to let you know how proud I am of you. You are like a grandson to me, as odd as that sounds and I want to ensure that you continue on the right path by passing along some wisdom. My response is long because I have a lot to say. First, you have accomplished so much and are only in your early 20s but still find time to dream and play - make that your life time habit. Do you realize that you are not just building the foundation of your house but you are also identifying and building your internal foundation? You are building your character, quality work ethic, morals, values, identifying strengths and weakness and how to differentiate between honorable and dishonorable people. This will take time because you will need to face a variety of challenges that need to be figured out and be put in situations where you interact with people you normally would not meet. So let’s take for example the house you are building. What if you took short cuts in building your foundation and only put in half of the caballos and then finished the house? A storm, high winds or heavy building materials set on the floor then caused your foundation to fail. Think of the expense and time it would take to fix that problem. In the same way you must get your internal foundation set properly before you build on it. Finding a life partner would be the next step because together with a quality person, you can reach heights and goals you never thought possible. Please don’t let your hormones push you into getting a girl friend quickly. A man that has mastered self-control reaps the benefits in all areas of his marriage. You will know you are ready to find that special someone when you no longer fall for any attractive woman because you will be able to detect whether or not she has the qualities you value. Quality women are very selective because they have a lot to offer. They size men up intuitively and only respond to the best. Take for example Kaylee and Jordan. In my opinion, Jordan had his internal foundation set in his 20s and he was ready. Being good looking and being a little shy helped him but why was he ready? Because he completed his education, held a challenging position as a restaurant manager, overcame many personnel and business obstacles and had tons of beauties and available women come his way but none stopped him in his tracks until Kaylee showed up. Kaylee, drop dead gorgeous, high integrity, smart, confident and could have any man she wanted. No doubt that many guys hit on her offering the moon yet she turned her nose up until she met Jordan. He had to prove himself, had to be chill and to not act desperate (e.g.self control) and gave her a lot of control. So ask yourself, do you think Jordan would be where he is today without Kaylee? Or Kaylee without Jordan? In the meantime, enjoy the process and the journey. Know that your beauty is getting herself ready to meet you and when that day comes, you will know in an instant that she is the one but your brain will be clueless to tell you why.

Enjoyed watching your work today. A water catchment system up the hill brought down to your home by gravity would be a plus for you as well. Perhaps solar panels that feed your electrical needs with gutters that drain into barrel and flow down to into your home. Glad you are muffling the sound of the generator, better for your hearing health! Beautiful place!

I've heard other seniors our age complain that the younger generation has not learned the same work ethic we had. These young folks blow that myth to bits. Ypu need a zip line system to carry all that down. A pole up top a pole down low and long wire cable. Put a wench motor on it to bring it back up

Rodrigo, Congratulations on your great progress. I feel the same way about the beauty of the mountains and jungle in the Boquete area; it is so lush and verdant and full of life. I am moving there and was there for three weeks recently and found a rental in a nice quiet jungly part of Palmira Arriba and can't wait to return. The desert of Central Asia seems even less inspiring after three weeks there.
