The Lodge At Wah in Kandbari is a beautiful mountain cabin surrounded by the woods , we stayed here for 3 nights experiencing the simplicities of village life and reconnecting with nature in the lap of the Himalayas , also enjoying some amazing hospitality of the Prakash family , who are excellent hosts.
The original Lodge At Wah is a luxury eco friendly Boutique Homestay in Palampur in a gorgeous tea estate owned by the Prakash family and this is their second villa , here in kandbari on top of the mountain and surrounded by the pine forests.
Were stayed here for 3 nights and went for walks in the woods and by the river and the team at the lodge arranged picnics for us everyday surprising us with some top notch hospitality.
On our last day here we headed out in the village , visited Andretta , an artist village 20 minutes from here where you can take pottery lessons or visit the Sobha Singh art gallery and then we went to the tea room at wah for lunch and to spend time in the tea gardens at Wah.
We highly recommend this place for families , couples or honestly anyone who wants to spend some time in nature , peace and quiet.
