I drove there from the valley, ordered and forgot my wallet.. the lady literally told me I can come back the next day and pay and I was so grateful for her for that.. however, I called home and had her manually enter my card info on the strength I didn’t wanna double back but yeah.. that spoke volumes about the integrity of the place.. the food superseded it tho and I was mad I didn’t opt to come back the next day bc I would’ve gone broke in two days

omg omg omg omg...............thank you figmunity for showing this hidden gem. Dude i went to arlington heights elementary school near this place. Lived on 5th and washington from 1996-2006 as a kid to a teenager, a man tried to rob my mom (may she rest in peace) in front of this restaurant waiting for the bus (back then it use to be 68 bus but now it changed). Man.......this is me and my brothers favorite jamaican spot. Even though we don't live in the area anymore we always pay the extra fee for delivery on ubereats to get oxtails and rice and peas from this place. Worth it. I get so much nostalgia from this place. Thank you figgmunity for showing this video. Definitely subscribing and hitting the like button.
