@@cj393 Doubt that will happen. His entire life and family is in Colorado. Besides, Florida has tons of performance shops all over the place. PFI has a great market in the Denver area without a ton of competition. If he's anything like me, the heat, tourists, urban sprawl, and flatness of Florida makes it intolerable long-term.
MAKE SURE IT CAME WITH THE UPGRADED ARP BOLTS THAT BOLTS THROUGH THE VTEC SOLENOID THAT HOLDS THE MAIN BRACKET OF THE SUPERCHARGER BECAUSE THE OLDER STYLE HARDWARE BREAK AFTER TIME
badass exhaust and super nice supercharger kit, yall are really doing this one right! Painting the valve cover would help a ton with the engine bay looks too
The bloopers at the end had dying 😅😂 That's a super clean install for thay supercharger 👌. Looking forward to seeing what power it makes now. I wish I was in America I would definitely be entering the competition.
Upgrade the retainer/keeper to the AP2 f22c1s or even titanium ones. The stock f20c ones are known to fail and potentially drop a valve because of the higher revving. Planning on doing this on the long run for my girls s2k so just dropping my 2 cents into this 🙌🏼🙌🏼
@@Matty.Hill_87 yea, when you see LHT do dyno runs on stock S2's, they are in the Florida, but then again they are in Florida, where the humidity is high and its always hot, and they get around 205. Kinda wanna see hp rating at pfi and then see how much more hp it would be at sea level
Should do a blooper reel after episodes. Not all. But some. It gives a finer look at what content creators deal with/all the video content that don’t make it to the episode normally.
Nice. My buddy had a supercharged s2000 that used to eat porches. He turned it into a full race scca car and ended up going back to na because the supercharger was too much for the courses. Such a good setup with that supercharger though.
First time commenting. But just wanted to say,Me and my son have been watching your show since the beginning. Have to say it's favorite channel. Love watching you guy's.
Dam your shipping is very reasonable, congratulations on that, how about adding a knife to the collection ? maybe a drink cup (yeti type) with a top so it won’t spill when doing donuts 😊, keep up the fantastic job 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Definitely gonna grab a hoodie or something have wanted an s2000 ever since I saw Johnny Tran give jesse the dust in that black s2000 I was 11 back then 😂😂😂 thanks for the opportunity kyle!!!! Also whoever said leave it stock really? Live a little!!! 😂😂😂
Keep it off the 2 step and limiter, those rotrex superchargers don’t last well when they see a lot of that being a friction drive system inside of them. They like to snap the impeller shaft if it sees bouncing RPMS.
Would of been great to see how much power the Skunk Works exhaust added over stock when you laid down the initial figures Kyle..... but great work by the team!!!🙂🙂
I really feel like you guys are a big enough channel to upload at 4k. Love your guys videos but RU-vid 1080p mid and your iPhone can do it. On the road when upload speed sucks sure but at home you guys could do it 👍Love the s2000 gonna cop me a entry fr.
I had a buddy who had an EK Civic hatch (like Kyle's), but he had it painted Tahitian Green Pearl, it had a freshly fully built JDM B16A, and it had a Kraftwerks supercharger kit. It was really surprising. My EJ8 EK coupe had a fully built LSVTEC turbo that made 709 whp, and every time I would take mine to the strip it would have some stupid issue like a TPS malfunction or a fuel pressure issue. His hatch made 356 whp with the supercharger and that's a damn good feat for a B16A.
I just ordered a novi 1500 for my Mercedes ls3 swapped c280. Looking for 650 whp. First centri supercharger for me also. Good stuff I’ll be watching this closely.
Definitely should of resurfaced the flywheel and did the AP2 spring and retainer swap look up LHT PERFORMANCE they jist put up yet ANOTHER video on how bad the AP1 Retainers are you dont want a winner to drop a valve ATLEAST LOOK INTO IT just looking out for my boys
I had an s2k with an sos sc kit, badass clutch, kwv3, oem hardtop, and bbk among other supporting mods when I was stationed in Germany. It was good fun on the autobahn and Nurburgring but was still pretty flat torque wise vs a turbo setup
Those superchargers are a hit or miss so if you miss get at them quick because they'll only warranty for a year or two the one we did was bad out the box. Symptoms was it was very difficult to start up
The air filter isnt clamped on to the compressor housing!! You have two clamps at the fliter !!! One needs to be pushed down otherwise the the whole thing will fly off !!!
YES! Throw a bigger bottom pulley on that and turn up the boost to 11psi. A smaller supercharger pulley would only add to the fun, put a blow off as well.
Action clutch Break-in Requirements 500 street miles / Keep RPM’s under 4500, no more than half-throttle, no boost (if applicable). Proper break-in is required in order to retain product warranty, ensure longevity and holding capacity
This is my favorite kit for the s2000. I've installed probably 100 of these on customers cars. I'm gonna have to buy some merch to maybe get one myself.
Okkkkk holyyy so many comments for this vid. The kit comes with brett? Im sold!! If the winner wants it back to stock, they not a true boosted boi. Maybe just include the stock parts along with the giveaway. I wish canada was included in the giveaway. Canadas auto culture sucks. I think another nice touch would be to re-powder coat the valve cover, make it look MINTier than it already does. Yall made that install look TOO easy. Keep up the good work boizzz cant wait to see the dino results. 💯
