I never read comments so didn't realize overly negative comments were an issue. So here's something positive! I loved this video idea way more than the others because it rewards correct guesses instead of punishing incorrect ones. Battles are way more fun to watch when one side isn't handicapped!
I also thought it was komala initially, it was an in the moment thought process, just knowing insomnia was something to do with sleeping and komala is also known for sleeping
i never realised it until rn but heracross' pokedex entry talks about hercules and heracross includes most of heracles, which was hercules' name in greek legend (hercules is the roman one)

I feel like I could have gotten Bronzong from the dex entry; I saw something similar on a JMC video. It's wild that so much of that thing's dex entries are basically just about the fact that it knows Rain Dance.
I would love to see this again but with interesting twist that you can sabotage the opponent so like they get a Pokemon in you really don't want them to have it you can use like a reroll slot to force your opponent to reroll it

i wonder if they have ever played press your luck....... i know it would be an old tired wheel randomizer but you have to spin to get advantages for your pokemon/turn. so they wouldnt start out perfect. but if you hit a whammy spot something super negative happens to the mon. the game is about trying to push as much advantage as you can each round while the wheel slowly fills up with whammies. hitting a whammy automatically ends the turn so while the whammy is big it can only happen 1 time per mon. you could even make it so the wheel spinning and pressing of luck happens BEFORE picking the mon. that way any negatives/positives are blind to what the spinning turn person is getting. example spinning person rolls whammy and the host picks a negative to special attack as the whammy. so if they turn around and they have a physical attacker its not so bad. but being a blind choice also means the spinner chooses left middle or right without looking unless a positive you roll lets you look. you could even have a spot for pick the tera type since it is so strong for that not to be random. and as the inverted option host could pick that mon's tera type if spinner gets whammied. so the spinning strategy is do you try and bank a whole bunch of positives on 1 or 2 mons or do you try and even spread the butter while getting positives like turn and pick your mon, picking ability, illegal move, better ivs, changed typing ect. kinds of advantages. each player has 2 sets of identical 4-6 whammy options they can dole out. but once 1 is used it cant be used again against the same person. also when spinning each person HAS to spin 1 time (or more) unless whammied. edits lots >_< but i was trying to fully flesh out the idea ^_^
Fun fact heracross is based on rhinoceros beetles and they can lift 800-850 times their weight. So considering that, heracross is kinda weak. Lmao but i love heracross so much.
