Great video! I'm pretty sure your first xp farm wasn't working because overworld mobs can not spawn on netherack. And then the creepers spawned because maybe you placed a couple overworld blocks as well. I made the same mistake in my world too.

You can duplicate the netherite upgrade template… You just need diamonds and the template…. I hope this will help you both ❤
