huge praise to Richard he is so skilled, the quality of the craftsmanship on the Allegro seats is amazing, I worked on a project for JLR Classic on Defender and getting tweed/tartan to line up across the full car is no easy task!

Chaps, you keep aplogising for not having done something (I've been busy at The Den etc) There are many thousands of viewers who would be only too happy to watch you burning off underseal outside, whilst imparting your knowledge! The amount of skill, passion and love for what you guys do is remarkable. I will never rebuild an early Mini door hinge, I don't care, but I will still watch you guys telling me what to do. This weekend I found myself going down a rabbit hole (sailing ffs) (The Louis Vitton Final) watching elite level skill is awesome. So please do't apologise just keep being yourselves.

Definitely looking forward to the Aston project. Dream car for me.

Really Fantastic Den Launch Party Pleasure to meet so many people....

45 years here in central Florida a half hour from Daytona but STOKED to see the cars at The Den show. I could never go to enough shows here to ever see the variety of cars there. That’s my draw to your channel…things I may never see otherwise. It’s not easy to find a channel that does the quality of work you do which is just phenomenal In that regard you deliver massively so thanks so much for sharing and Jamie did an amazing job with the montage. Thank you so much from a grateful Floridian!.I did have a twinge of jealousy because my boss has the first Volvo he sold in1974. Tracked and found 144. 4 doors..EVERY NUT AND BOLT .…..indistinguishable from New and that new car would have fit right in!

Richard in The Den does an awesome job of explaining how he works on the upholstery. I have tried to re-upholster seats in the past and now I understand why it wasn’t very successful! Now I want my car’s interior improved including the seats as I have the same problem with the foam breaking down. I really enjoy your Retropower videos, but was wondering if it is worth producing videos for The Den as it’s expanding your range of interesting areas hugely.

I'd never of thought I'd listen to someone talking about brass hinges for over 10 minutes, but I did! . Excellent work and attention to detail as always, you guys are without doubt the best out there, and probably like so many other viewers, if i had the money, you'd be doing a couple of projects for me. Firstly a MK1 Granada saloon, made into a ragtop with XJR V8 engine (or AMG V8) , second would probably be an early 70's non liftback celica, I'm sure Cal would be behind that one 👍

When Nat said "Aston DBS," it sounded to my American ears like "aphrodisiac." ...which seems entirely appropriate.

Again an interesting video from Retropower to start my day. What a dedication to detail on the Mini hinges. On the topic of hinges, Nat mentioned waiting for a Helicoil set. When I restomod’ed my 1974 E-type in the US, I went for something different that I found better for my application and which could work for you too. They are called “EZ thread” or something to that effect, which is basically a solid insert. Not the exact same brand, but a very similar product is available on Amazon UK, if you’re interested. Looking forward to your next yearly event, should you decide to do it again.

My MGB GT3 I put one channel of the stereo in the middle between the seats and then the other channel in the rear sides forward near the seats and the sound is fantastic in both seats no matter what. Remember to take care of your mental health too. Great work.

Well done on the show, congratulations on your hard work paying off! I understand the descion to not dip cars after seeing that surface on the ' wasaabi ' under the support panel. Might be too much effort, but ever considered a beer 🍺 club all the people that comment on settling down on a Sunday night to watch with a cold one🤔. Or a Christmas special drinks prize to watch during the festival period.

I used to own a D reg MGB also with a V8 conversion....never had a need for a radio...The guy that bought it had stuck in one of those awful walnut dash boards and overstuffed seats...I took it back to look original...

Shorter bonnet prop: sounds like someone has a 4-post lift and wants the lower car to be able to open the bonnet without hitting the runners on the lift.

i always dreaded lead... that looks like seriously high quality lead work. how do you lead on top of lead? I always ended up melting out what i'd done, when I needed to apply more on top!
