Just ordered the all black one from KC for $253. Absurdly good price, especially in 2023. The way they implemented the stop pin looks to be one of the better designs out there. My favorite so far is the way Maxace did it on the Amber 2S. They use external stop pins to hold it open _and_ closed, but that comes with the inherent downside of the lockbar needing to be the same height as the show side so it inhibits access a bit but the good still outweighs the bad, IMO. Really excited to get it in hand.
I like the original and don't think I'd buy it again buttttt if I had this option from the get go I might be convinced. The milling is attractive there is a Xerxes I think that has similar. I would recommend the carbon inlay ver if only for the weight lessening.
@@Kevinclearysharpstuff hand shape is the same I guess the point comes down just a touch lower and the hight of the balde is added to the spine side. I get a late 70s vibe for some reason lol. That and it follows the old original more closely . Which if we're not spitting hares this design is really a modified Persian I think
