This was a tonne of fun to watch live, thanks a tonne to everyone involved! God, Smith's "Steel" gaffe was so amazing, then Ravs' followup made it even better.
Saved this to watch with my mom, since I got to see it live! She thoroughly enjoyed it! The gameshows are always such a treat, I'm always amazed at how much work Craig puts into these! Also, the image around 21:01 of both Ross and Trott covering their faces in shame while Smith looks around confused after answering "Steel!" has lived rent free in my head for the past few days, hahaha, such a hilarious moment XD
20:58 The look on Trott's face of "Yeah we've got this" quickly shattering into disappointment, followed by Ross' heartfelt "No!" is an amazing progression of events.
@@DrDarkheart I enjoyed it personally and I did have a good laugh BUT I think it would have been different if I didn't have more Hatfilms quiz content to watch that I hadn't seen yet. I think if I had already binged everything and then I saw a new quiz video to drop only for it to be Fumple Fizz instead then I'd probably have been too bummed out to enjoy it lol so I get that.
Funnily enough, siderodromophobia makes way more sense in the original German before it was translated into Greek. Eisen for iron, bahn for a sort of generic 'vehicle' (though bahn is usually just train in modern German), angst for fear. Eisenbahnangst. A way better name. One of the few good things Sigmund Freud gave us.
I feel like an opportunity was missed by not rigging a tie, meaning the single point Ravs received right at the beginning for clapping the longest actually decided the whole thing.
Would have liked to see the banter between Craig and the contestants about crediting artists left in, but otherwise fantastic video. Great way to catch the bits I missed live
i love how broken this fever dream of a craigles game show this is! also, where can one get a jacket like that, made of REAL rhinestones?? it is the most beautiful thing ive ever seen.. worn by craig?
40:47 I may have missed the rules but why did they put back the Jack card when it's playable? Did they confuse it with a Joker? They even played the Jack card again at 44:10.
they said the card is lower than a ten but the jack was higher, they then joked about craig rigging the cards because a couple had been higher than a ten, then trott made an off hand comment about the joker.
because they were wrong craig had to switch the card for the next round, they carry on the game afterwards, i think trotts comment made it a bit confusing
As a certified paleontology nerd, that question about which was not a dinosaur hurt, especially Smithy not recognising that it's a whale not just because it has two roots in its teeth (which to be fair is a characteristic of mammals)
I think Dr. Simon Clark needs to sit the boiks down and learn 'em some space stuff. Hell, all of the yogs could use a crash course, Sarah thought the Soviets landed on the moon, Lydia and Smith thought there was only one moon landing, Trott thought Titan was a moon of Jupiter...
Loved everything except for the card game and the wheel spinning on its own, not making a sound and getting faster after being spun AND being manipulated downwards 😧
Just for reference guys, the North Pole is not always frozen so "snow" is not the correct answer, it is sometimes just water due to global warming caused by whales and penguins. "Good luck driving there in the summer" sic Clarkson!
I dont listen to it myself, but its a podcast by Ravs, Harry/Barry, and Lydia. I think the premise behind the name is that none of them have (university) degrees. I dont know the main subject matter of the podcast, i assume its probably "just whatever" (not that that's bad).
