In this episode we take the van beach camping on magnificent Teewah Beach. We beach drive to Double Island Point for a stunning breakfast location and then we head to Rainbow Beach.
With the weather coming in we make a beeline to the Fraser Coast and get ready to take the Defender to the world famous Fraser Island (K'Gari).

Just watching this again as we were at rainbow beach last new year, it is a favourite spot as Wolf Rock diving is pretty amazing too. Happy new year to you both.

Teewah is great. But if the hoons and rubbish dumpers don’t amend their ways I fear this great location might get closed.

Great vehicle, what’s the awning? You should get a Marco Polo drone finder for the next drone

Thanks for commenting, we love it when people reach out. We will do a VLOG on the Defender, great car, tows well but there's been a couple of things.. leave that for later. The awning is from Drifta-Stockton here's the link driftastockton.com.au/product/drifta-stockton-270-freestanding-awning-accessories/ And yes Marco Polo !! :) . The drone has a tracker (until the battery runs out), I knew where it was - the very top branches of the tallest tree on the tallest dune - so unsafe to climb and too high to throw or get a stick to try to push it out. And then it rained. so it was unrecoverable. I had the DJI replacement coverage so with a bit of mucking around, providing diagnostic files from the controller and lodging a claim we got a replacement for it at a lot lower cost than retail. But I was still a bit stroppy !! Misjudged the heights and the anti collision sensors work below, forward and back ward (not sideways!). Have a great day.
