One of my dream cars has always been a Bandit Trans Am but rebuilt with current suspension, brakes and running gear. That would be right up there as one of my favourite American cars, along with the Buick 74 Riv, a Buick GNX, and the list goes on….
Beautiful TransAm!! The Nova was what they should’ve been back in the day 😂 Ultimately, I appreciate all the station wagons! So under appreciated 😊 As I grow older, the more I like the idea of multi tasking and having a vehicle that will take me to work and also haul stuff 😂😂

If you enjoy car shows, go to Pumpkin Run first weekend in Oct in SW Ohio. It's a 3 day event, 1974 and older. Nice variety of everything old, and a lot of good people!!
Okay, now subscribed. Ya got me. The car show in my small town shows no love for my car either. It runs around all summer as a daily driver. I go anyplace and get thumbs up and "nice car" in every place I stop. I built it in my garage with everything done by me. It is a 1972 W30 442 clone, bright orange with black stripes. It cannot compare to the trailer queens and the same old large group of guys from a neighboring state. Fun fact: I saw Cannonball Run in 1981 at a drive-in in my 69 Camaro 396/4 speed. It was a blur driving home after that. Ahh to be 18 again...
I hear ya .. I don't see the point of having a car you won't drive personally.. Sounds like a sweet ride to me.. I Don't really care if they like the wagon or not.. I'll keep bringing it to be annoying .. 🤣
I completely get your p.o.v. about the GTO vs Lemans tail lights. I'm the same way about the '66 vs '67 Chevelle debate, I'm a '66 guy myself. Another thing is the Canadian versions of 50's through 70's cars from the big 3. I think for the most part, Canadian cars got the rejected styles of what the designers came up with for grills, bezels and rear light applications.
Yep I can see that about Canadian built vehicles.. like the 68 beaumont.. it had the same taillights as a 68 chevelle.. but the old pontiac got four of them same taillights two normal and two upside down 🤣
My first car was a 64 Galaxy 500 wagon 352 4bl dual exhaust with trailer package my mom gave me. White with brite red interior. I hated it back in 72. Now I wish I still had it. Had a 67 camaro 327 4bl 3spd stick. White with that red Interior. No console it wasn't an SS. T/A's in the late 70's were dogs. They looked cool though. 👍 for the Nova. I'm wierd I like the 64 GTO's. Shortened mini buses aren't fun to drive. The wheelies are fun though. Love that color. No purple interiors. White is better. Would like the Willys done regular not ratted.👊😎👍
The Misfit Mobile is cool, it means you can have more friends! Back in school in the early 80s my brother had a Javelin and I had Mercury Grand Marquis. (that I later traded for a Country Squire wagon) Cooler but...he could always only take 1 friend, when it came for time to go the beach or drive in we piled a whole lot of people into my car! I win! 😊👍
The Ford looks great apart from the Chev powering it lol. I think it needs a bit of white or silver on the outside and it will really pop. I like the 80’s-90’s sort of pastel colours on the old Fords but I still want a black T doctors coupe and black 32 highboy. Maybe one day when o retire I can buy one. Even if I get some frame rails and I build one up from there I’ll be happy, but who knows what’ll happen tomorrow.
I actually like the misfit mobile, more than any shown other than that gorgeous Trans Am! Top video dude. Your not fooling me showed a lot of that GTO you said you didn't like! 😉👌
I'm going to agree, to red for Camero. Great job with Nova...Shortening a VW Bus makes em completely useless cause I want something I can drive instead of just trying to drive something that's just going to mostly set and look at it lol
Mate first off you’ve hit the mark again with some great looking cars although I’ll never understand ratrods. One car I did see next to the Trans Am I loved but you really didn’t show was the gold ragtop VW Beetle known as a Dak Dak here in Straya 🇦🇺. Felt sad seeing the cut up mid 70s VW Kombi van. Anyway the Misfit Mobile is looking great as always absolutely loving your work thanks for sharing. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

It was just because of they comment from the joker at the show .. who I guess didn't think the wagon belonged in the show.. and stuck it on the end away from all the other cars.. thanks for watching and commenting
Fantastic looking Camaro but I have to agree I personally think it would look so much better with a full black interior. Yup also a Great Fire Chicken but yes the T Top def makes them so much better. The Only GTO I like is the 69 Judge ;)
Got my personal best speeding ticket in a 77 lemans, 135mph in a 40. Best part was the fact they were feds. It was ugly as sin but, it would move. And how dare they consider the "Misfits Mobile" just a spectator's car. That's the car of the people!
That's right 😅... some dig the wagon some don't just the way it is.. but what's funny is most people don't even know what they are looking at. Smok & Band was a fav movie back in the day... did you ever see Honeycomb rims for this car? WOWZEERS!!! The mini-VW bus was a hoot to see... and the Nova was cool to see too! Does nobody dress up vans anymore? There must be a zillion million mini-vans out there crying to be customized -eh?

I do like the smaller shows, maybe I have a short attention span 🤷♂. Favourite car movie; The original 1974 "Gone in 60 Seconds", Trans Am was sweet. I'm all for the 2 colourful hot rods, especially the first blue one, I'd leave it as is interior wise and drive the hell out of it.
I agree with you about that red interior, I hate red interior on any car. That’s just me, and I recall the time a salesman at our local dealership tried to get my wife interested in a green Buick Park Avenue, she turned to him and said “that’s a waste of sheet metal”, now 30 years later and we still laugh about that one. As you say to each his own.

During the late 90s I got discouraged from the car show scene. People would sit and nit pick every littler thing, meanwhile their car wasn't much to look at. I had a 66 Impala four door sedan, great car, rusty but a reliable driver. As soon as you told someone you had a four door, they'd literally turn and walk away.
Yeah see that's some bull 💩.. that's one thing I can't stand at some car shows.. nobody should be treated like that for bringing a car that they built or really enjoy.
Yes, more car shows! I never have time to go to them, and it pisses me off. I could watch car show videos all day. Thanks. BTW, I think the shorty style mods are dumb. They look completely unsafe and would give them a ton of space if I saw one rolling down the road near me.
Loved that GTO. The only thing wrong with it was the color. It would have looked good in the Nova colors. Not a fan of lighter blue shades. That older hot rod looked bad in that color scheme. It looked to modern, to Miamish.
I never liked the upholstery the same color as the outside of the car . Black is classic. White sometimes . Red only in a black car but I'd personally prefer black on black . With ac !
I agree that Smokey and the Bandit was a fun movie, but as car movies go ... I own over 130 films on DVD, where a car was the star ... and there are a lot of better car films. A great film featuring cars, and racing action is "Two Lane Blacktop". i love the car shows, I liked the normal muscle cars, but kind of like the older rods, including that rat rod Willy's.
Oh I know there are other cool car movies.. but the 55 wasn't there.. now there was some James Taylor look a likes from present day.. but no Harrison Ford , can't mention the two lane black top 55 without a mention of American Graffiti . Thanks for watching and commenting
No we were in helping out another gear head in Kentucky. But on our way back home in ohio we got off the highway near chillicothe for gas. But we are located in ohio.
Not to be mean. Honestly the year of your wagon has to be one of the ugliest ever made. The Impala SS was the one to own. Everybody is different, you do you.
Your mobile is like others that has the potential to be better. Those are not the best looking wheels. The size should be smaller. The car should be much lower. A few cars that you featured were ruined with bad stance and ugly wheels. Just sayin!
