bro not too long ago there's a video of USAirsoft demonstrating a m14 at an Evike store and that WE M14 didnt have the front iron either. I think that unit and the unit you recieved are the aame one. It's on the USAirsoft channel shorts, just after the stainless steel AK short. I think evike intentionally sold you a used/incomplete/sample product.

Evike does this a lot actually. They would remove the original muzzle device and sell it separately, the only replica I got from them that actually came with the original muzzle device was the we aks74un.

I think the fake gas piston holds the guide rod in line. Silly question but have you cleaned the barrel with Isopropyl?

Did you cleaned up the Inner Grease that it comes with in the Inner Barrel? There is a disclamer that you should do ir in this replica before testing.

I think that orange tip issue is a distributor thing, because I got my we tech m14 from another airsoft shop and when they brought it up to me they showed the the gun and it had that same orange tip, the only issue I have with mine is that every time I fill my mag with bbs and gas, I put the mag in, caulk the gun and gas leaks everywhere

Did you notice the magazine sometimes releases all th gas? I read some comments that this happens when the mag isnt seated propperly?
