Will use this to record drums in my small Home Studio. And will be a nice upgrade from one mic to 9 mics. The Isolated Samples and Drum playthrough clearly explained the tone we would be getting. Great for multitracking and learning the art of recording for beginners. Thanks for the review.

I am a street Indian drummer, mostly I play at marriage, Ganesh Chaturthi and Navratri festivals, We don't get real respect from the audience so my dream is to make people's point of view towards street drummers in a good way and make them to respect us . I am a music producer, vocalist, mixing, and mastering engineer. There are quite a few uses I can already think of for the Audio Array drum mic kit if I end up winning it. One would be the most obvious one: recording the drums in the studio. But with so many microphones in the kit, I'll record vocals, different percussions, and other instruments as well. I'll also use the microphones for sampling, just like Charlie Puth :) I can also see myself using one of the microphones out of the nine included in the kit as a room microphone for recording the ambience and reverb of the drum kit. I'll use different micing techniques to capture different tones and textures from different instruments and percussions. I can make use of these microphones for recording beatboxers. I'll be able to make use of the microphones in this kit for different types of stereo recording techniques, like XY Pair, ORTF, and spaced pairs. If I get the opportunity, I can also use these microphones on a drum kit in a stage performance.
We are a hindi rock band and have a little studio setup and it's so hard to record with normal mic setup. This mic set will surely makes our drum recording process to next level. Cheers

I'm Mann, a drummer & a percussionist. I have been playing drums for the last 12 years now & have been posting videos on Instagram. I couldn't actually get my hands on a good microphone set because of which the quality of sound I wanted the audience to hear couldn't be achieved. Without a microphone, the sound is too shabby & dry. If I win this set, I would be able to put out more quality videos in terms of sound & even achieve the crisp sound needed when practicing :)

Sounds great considering its targeted towards first time buyers, I'd live to mic my drummer for live sets with these and with the variety of mics in the kit, I can use it with multiple instruments In studio as well!! Def. Steal
