Our travel plans changed and WE LEFT VIETNAM! After spending only 2 weeks in Vietnam, we decided to leave Vietnam... And we traveled to Lombok, Indonesia! We made a mistake traveling to Vietnam in October. In our honest opinion, it's not worth traveling to Vietnam during rainy season especially if you experience as much rain as we did in Da Nang. Traveling to Hanoi in October was nice, but in Central Vietnam it was raining 24/7 and the streets were flooding. So if there's one travel mistake to avoid, it's to not check the weather of your travel destination (such a rookie mistake, we know). Rainy season can be ok, but for us it was too much, which is why we decided to travel to Indonesia instead.
