Arrived Paris yesterday afternoon. After watching most of your videos. Today was spent at the Saxe Marche, lunch at a corner brassiere to give her a taste of watching the world go bye. Tomorrow heading for St Chapelle, the flower and bird market my granddaughters request. And returning via St Germain and one of your suggestions for midday meals. Thanks so much for your enthusiasm and generosity sharing your Paris.
The pure joy on Colleen's face is wonderful! I follow approximately 90 food youtubers and just recently found your channel. Your channel has bumped up to one my top 5. Thank you!
For the record- btw: when I learn about Paris from the both of you I feel happy 😃 to see how kind, caring and generous two people can be to each other and it warms my soul: if I could tour Paris with my two favorite ❤️ people it would be with you two! Amazing 🤩 and May Almighty GOD BLess.
Dear Colleen and Antoine, To promote the French Republic you eat so much in every vidéo; you put on one stone of weight both of you ! I think your sacrifice merits a knights medal of the Légion d'honneur !!! ❤😂
My wife and I were on a layover in Paris yesterday and happened to be in St Germain. We ended up at Bobo Creperie based off your recommendation and it was great! The owner and his wife were really really nice. I got the chèvre, lardon, epinard, meil galette and it was amazing! Thank you for recommending Bobo. Really made our layover delicious!
Everything looks really good but that Croque monsieur with truffle butter takes the icing on the cake.Thank you guys for sharing these amazing spots with delicious street food and affordable prices.
Does the Grande epicerie not always have the beschemel/truffle butter version on the croque? The seemed confused when we asked about other there the other day. Just had the classic version, which was still good.
Just wanted to let you know that a I had a GREAT LUNCH at Tzeferakos, a lovely Greek salad, a feta and spinach pie, and a mouth watering Baklava….They were soooo friendly, and with this stifling heat in Paris at the moment, the husband was behind the oven with a huge smile on his face….I lived in Greece, and can tell You, They’re very good ! I Highly recommend this place, and Owe You Both My Immense Gratitude 🙏🏽 Just Love watching your videos 🇫🇷 Merci
I'm dying!!! I watched this right before dinner... Did you enjoy all that yummilicious food?? It sure looked like it!! When your notification comes in, I grab my Paris notebook and sharpen the pencil!!
@@LesFrenchiesTravel incredible video. Already placed those spots on my map for next month. I will be there mid November and have no clue what the weather might be for walking around. Any guidance for what to wear?
My parents love to travel the world through RU-vid, so they turned me on to your channel because I live in Paris with my French husband. LOVE your videos and now I have new places to eat! Thanks for making such great content and you two are adorable.
I love all of your videos but I need to stop watching them before bed.... **starving** for a croque monsieur Thanks for all the great advice and closeups of the food.
OMG, I am so happy I found you guys!!! I love your videos and have been binge-watching them!! I can't wait to get back to Paris--it's been 20 years since I was last there. Merci beaucoup!!
I think Julia said it best when she stated, “People who love to eat are always the best people.” I am such a foodie and will be back in Paris in about a week or so and cannot wait to hit some of these places up! The way you enjoyed the food and the experiences has my mouth absolutely watering! Also enjoyed the Paris Disney tips as I have not been there since it opened in 1992! Can’t wait to celebrate their 30 year anniversary! Great videos and tips; love it!
I agree with Julia. I am suspect of anyone who has little knowledge or appreciation of food. I love cheese and bread and am suspect of anyone who doesn't like either of those two foods.
I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to jump through the screen so much and eat all that delicious food! I mean you both make it look so delectable! Looking forward to going there and exploring one day ! I love your content, subbed
Gosh, my mouth is watering. Those crusty crusts, fillings and cheese, 😋. So nice to see two people enjoy the street foods of the city you're visiting - Paris. 😊 Thanks!
You two are living the life! If I was there, I would just eat at these places and take away only instead of going to restaurants every night. Love the sandwiches!
I found your RU-vid channel yesterday when I was starting to do more research on my upcoming Paris trip. I must say that of all the various videos I have seen, yours are my favorite! Your reviews are straightforward and entertaining, you give us all the facts (which I love), and you include Google Maps links in the video descriptions! Thank you for your perspective and I cannot wait to try some of your recommendations.
I will be watching this again in a couple of weeks when I'm there, so I can check out some of these places. Everything looks great and affordable, which is helpful since we are trying to save money for excursions by eating some meals at our rental, but not missing out on some delicious food out and about.
Bravo! You do such a great job at explaining and showing us the food you are trying. My mouth is watering! I really like how you added the Metro stop locations to make it easier for tourists. Please consider doing a video on what items we should buy at the grocery store to bring back as gifts. I can't wait for our trip to Paris! Thank you!
Rewatching and taking notes in my Paris travel planner.(Thank you again for this video!) 😊 Reminded me that the first time in Paris, right off the metro from airport, hungry, and the first thing l ate was a ham, cheese, and butter baguette on the street! 1972!! Soon to do the same.
When in Paris a few years ago we got rotisserie chicken and vegetables from a little shop near our rental. So delicious and easy to carry back to eat. I’ll bet there are hundreds of similar places in Paris. The guy was constantly basting his meat. Wow.
Just discovered your channel. I love your videos. It’s like having a virtual tour guide covering all the various areas of interest for visitors to Paris. I’ve been to Paris several times, it’s by far my favourite city in the world. I’ve always stayed in the Latin Quarter but have visited most of the areas you cover. Great job!!
Thank you so much for your videos, I love seeing your truly local take on Paris. It's nice to feel like I'm in Paris via your videos and hope to go back someday to try out all the places you have recommended!
I love your channel! I was introduced to it a few days ago and have watched several videos so far. I 'Like' each one, and have subscribed. I was in beautiful Paris for 10 days while in Grade XII, back in 1975. Sadly, I have not been much of a traveller since. Other than Canada and the USA, 🇫🇷 France is the only other country I have visited. Paris has always held a special place in my heart, and now I get to relive it with you two. Merci👍
@@LesFrenchiesTravel Have you done a video in the Latin Quarter? I remember going to a small bistrot late one evening for steak frites, but I don't recall the name of the place, nor the street name. I do remember taking the last subway train back to where were were staying, and the subway car was jammed so full that I could barely lift my arm until after some passengers got off.
Thank you for the great video. I'll check these places out, especially the Tzeferakos, the nearby arena seems like a hidden gem ;) Just to clarify, Kim Ly is actually a Vietnamese restaurant. They may sell Chinese dimsum, but "Nem" (or spring rolls) is 100% a Vietnamese dish. There are Chinese spring rolls, but ones that are popularly sold in France are mostly Vietnamese spring rolls.
Indeed Kim Ly is a Vietnamese restaurant-grocery store and has been there forever. The « crêpe chinoise » looks a lot like a dry version of banh cuon (steamed stuffed rice sheets) and is also totally Vietnamese.
Thanks so much for your videos! I spent a few days in Paris last week with my family and your recommendations were priceless. LOVE the street food videos!
I so love you diving into the Josephine Bakery Pain Gourmand, I can’t wait to go next month when we arrive. Thank you for the great tours and recommendations. It’s so much fun watching you all and getting inspired.
I really like your Videos from Paris. I have been there a lot but there is so much to explore. I will visit Paris again in May and wrote down many of your fantastic informations. Thank you for that.
Just discover your channel today and love the way you both talk. Thank you for all the good location, I can't wait to try the Pain Gourmand , a traditional sandwich at Cul de Cochon and more 😀
Wow!!! Omg my mouth was watering the whole time and I have already eaten dinner. The baklava sold me as it’s my favorite ever dessert. Thank you for this… made my notes for when I go later this year.
You're videos are amazing. I haven't finished it and im already hungry. I wish I could teleport there right now. I love seeing local shops and not the touristy ones. I'm looking forward to your new vids.
Love the video! There's an excellent restaurant next to Shakespeare & Co. called Le Petit Châtelet. It's where I go to splurge on a meal. My favorite fast foods are the sandwiches and paninis at the boulangeries.
I’ve learned to only watch your terrific foodie videos After I eat 🤣 otherwise just crazy for real French food. But found a tiny French Bakery nearby in PB so eating my croissant and dreaming one day of doing street food Paris with your recommendations- & appreciate the great 👍🏻 prices for us budget ppl
We appreciate your videos so much! Such fun and useful information. Can’t wait to get back to Paris one day. Thank you for all you do to share Paris with us.❤️
I enjoyed so much watching you eat! thanks god I did it after dinner. I hope to be there in a couple of months, I will definitely look for some of those places, thank you!
Another great episode both. 👏 We were taken to La Grand Épicerie on a motorbike tour a few years ago & what a fantastic place it is. Keep the videos coming please 🙏.
