Ready to eat food for me is instant noodles and stuff like upma, rice khichdi and masale bhaat which my mother roasts it, just add hot water and cook. We store in freezer and enjoy when we don't want to cook much or feeling lazy.

The only ready to eat food (from India) I really like is the MTR Chana masala! Although it has a little bit of preservative aftertaste, it overall tastes yummm! Ready to eat food here in Japan though is on a different level!

Ahhh they sell microwaveable MTR meals where I live in Australia and the Chana Masala, Dhal Fry and Dhal Mekhani are my go to when I need an emergency meal. I don’t have Indian background and I love Indian food, so even foods that Indian people probably feel are average or below average are delicious to me 😅
