I'm Asian American from NYC but a bit of an anglophile as I love UK culture and I always run your vlogs in the background as you guys are like my UK sitcom couple I like to watch.

Looked lovely Kryten as a single ( wife left me as I was too old ) male pensioner of 67 living on state benefit of £812 per month , I can honestly say I really enjoy watching your videos when you eat out especially when your with your Angel or cutey Paige , so I can imagine what the food would taste like , many pensioners like my self will never ever be able to afford to eat out , for us at home it’s HEAT or EAT.

I discovered your channel 1 year ago now and what a lovely man you are so genuine and kind both of you. You can just see you're such lovely people 😊 so refreshing to see on RU-vid ❤

I must say you need to be careful not to become a food snob. £75 including 1 soft drink is not value for money. The prawns were so small they were shrimps. If you take away the veggies (that don’t cost much to buy) there was 2 thin slices of turkey and some gravy for 30 pounds!(including the prawn cocktail). Places like this make you pay extra for add ons that should be included and then have the cheek to ask for a gratuity. £29.90 per head ended up costing 75 quid. A rip off in my humble opinion. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Keep the content coming.

Went to our local miller and carter after a long walk and they looked at us like we were dug up as we were wearing walking clothes never felt so unwelcomed considering it's a Mitchell and butlers chain. Food was crap aswell.

Looked ok but where was the mashed potato..you got to have creamy mash on a dinner

I love miller and carter, always have and that looked gorgeous. They’ve done a really good job with something that a lot of places find it hard to send out perfect every time. With no knowledge of how many they are going to serve each day and keeping each one to a high standard and not overcooked. I will definitely go this year when Christmas comes around again

“Hand carved” always makes me laugh. How else would it be carved unless it’s the pre-packed supermarket crap? If it said hand slaughtered would you still buy it? 😮😅

Never been in a Miller and Carter and this video hasn't inspired me to do so. That prawn cocktail is one of the most depressing things I've seen in a while.

Hopefully you will take Paige there for a early Christmas dinner next time instead of one in a car 😊

Got to admit that I do really like that particular Miller & Carter and love their lunches. Not tried their Christmas menu before, but having seen that I will definitely be giving it a go as it looked really tasty.

Well Lee - you outdid yourself here. The starters look great.... particularly the liver pate. One of my favourites (and very good for you). Mains looked amazing... and the deserts to die for. It has to be 10/10 surely? yup.

Getting better but not a 10 as there were no breadcrumbs or bread sauce and where was the stuffing? For me it is the "extras" that make a Christmas dinner, and they were missing. Can't beat home cooking.

Prawn 🦐 Marie sauce looked a bit insipid, not creamy at all 😮. Angies parfait looked good and nice crispy toast. 🎉 However, as much as the veg looked great on the plate, it seemed that there was only 1 slice of turkey on each plate 😮.

A touch of class Christmas dining. I’ve never been to a Miller & Carter mainly because I don’t think we have one here in Norfolk. That Christmas meal looked the real deal absolutely delicious a real dash of sparkle and class. Certainly more upper class to Spoons! The Blonde Angel’s meal and starter looked excellent likewise yours Lee. Loved the humour and banter between you both. High class dining experience 👍

Last time I was in miller and carter Edinburgh I had rump steak and the whole meal was beautiful along with the service.

Hi Lee, the 3 course meal course looked absolutely tasty with fresh produce. Toby Carvery is usually hit & miss, but Miller & Carter always seems to be of high quality produce

Hi Lee. Happy New Year. I thought you might like to know that the same standard of Christmas dinner is not the same at the Horne Bay, Kent, Miller and Carter. Our first and last visit to this chain. The starters were as good but the mains! Very poor. Brussels rock hard, roast potatoes hardly roasted, not at all golden or crispy. The pigs in blanket was stuffing in blanket and as for the gravy, it was like yellow sump oil. The manager, much to our surprise agreed but did little to rectify the situation. He said the gravy was due to an issue with the suppliers that it causes it to separate, but why keep serving it? He said they could find us other potatoes and Brussels but by then the whole thing had got cold and it was barely warm when served. The restaurant was quite quiet when we were there so being busy wasn’t a reason. He knocked £15 off our bill in compensation but my friend and I will be giving this chain a wide berth from now on and won’t visit any again.

Beautiful setting. Did Robin Hood past by? M&C are hit and miss, depends upon location. You gave a Tenerife Steak House a 4.9 rating as everything was COLD. That 75 quid bill excluding loads of alcohol was amazing value. Usually spend no less than 140 quid at M&C with fine wine. Bloody heck 10 out of 10!!!!

Not sure about the pigs in blankets, I like a proper chipolata sausage & wouldn’t want sauce on them. What were the caviar looking bits on Ange’s crumble. Crumble should always be served with custard for me. Looked a very nice place though.

Is that the one near sherwood forest? We went there for my daughters wedding meal and it customer £200,for 6 of us. Did not rate it at all,totally overpriced. Would not recommend them at all. You get better and more at a local cavery.

Careful your body doesn't go into shock Lee . Body's not used to eating so much veg , other than mushy peas of course 😂😂

Don't understand, Lee, how you can give it, whatever it tasted like, a "ten", more like a "seven". Too expensive considering you had to fork out EXTRA for pigs in blankets, which, however tasty they WERE, looked more like little balls and not a full sausage! On the basis you paid extra for them, it would've been helpful if you'd mentioned how MANY you actually received (Couldn't really tell from the video). Don't also understand this propensity of Cauliflower cheese with Christmas dinner, that's more a "carvery roast" addition! There was hardly any veggies, really. Have to say, the Turkey looked as good as you said it tasted. The prawn cocktail looked naff, with hardly any Thousand Island dressing, NOR a good amount of prawns OR the brown bread and butter, you'd mentioned of a previous Christmas dinner, you had. (I think when you reviewed the Morrison's one). Desserts looked really nice, though, I must say. However, all in all, It's a rip-off!!! Good to see you both having a laugh and good time, though. Always indebted to your videos, but it works also to inform me WHICH to avoid and that's Miller and Carter for Christmas dinner!
