have you guys tried Casu Martzu, its an italian cheese made in sardinia island, italy;. This cheese is just a wheel of pecorino cheese with a twist!! first the cheese is let out for flies to lay eggs, then they hatch on the cheese and the larvae digs deeper and deeper until the cheese is full of maggots, which then are eaten with the cheese, It is said to make the cheese creamier and tastier and it was regarded as the most disqusting cheese. pretty tasty eh?
