I was thinking the same thing, haven't seen this kind of interaction and interest in the game for a long time from blizzard and the community.

Over my time of playing since 04/05 I've seen it a few times, progressively less and less as time has gone on the interactions in-games with GMs has dwindled to near nothing, but it was always such an exciting time. Once having a GM turn into a giant boss in org on I think it was Vashj long ago.

The odd part is that people play this haha. Just like any other Private server Since 2006.

@@Yams42279 oh yeah I hadn’t even considered that… that’s a shame I deliberately chose “lone wolf” server because to my knowdge it has no major A-list streamers on alliance side at least… even so the stv bloodmoon event just gets crazier with each reset/as more people level and gear up, it’s honestly enough of a chaotic/mass gathering/mass destruction “scene” as it is, and it’s generally the sheer number of players present in a zone at a time that warrant GMs actually making themselves visible & talking to players, albeit streamers do seem to get those more lengthy “one on one” interactions that would feel way more special if it happens to me, vs. just seeing a gm appear and kill a bunch of people/mobs 🤷‍♂️

Honestly with all the botting that was intentionally ignored this is hard to believe you were stopped by a gm for leaving an appropriate level zone, feel free to give more info but sounds off, no offence intended, the sentiment of "I have a secret but I promised I wouldn't tell anyone" is not a behaviour exhibited by mature/older honest individuals, generally a younger sensationalising mindset uses this language

@@sekijou3622 but you won't be able to get a in game response from a gm, you'll get pretty much a email no back and forth this is nothing like old school this is oh there's a bunch of streamers let's show face so we seem like we're cool again... don't be fooled

Sadly, this is just the facade of old school MMORPG. They literally only show up for streamers, give streamers all the priority for loot and info, and endlessly promote the streams. The real WoW community has died and was replaced with the Twitch community.

@@ratburgler facts, I tell people to open a ticket and watch them not respond in game message and will pretty much send you a email oh that email didn't answer your question to bad now you gotta wait another week to get that answered

That's because the loot hasn't been added to loa boss, it was supposed to be for a later phase. Can't let people kill the boss and see nothing on it

@@wes2k3b10 not a matter of joking a gm showing up and trolling the kill. Means it's highly probable that it had no loot table because even at phase 2 launch they talked about the loa boss and how it will be worth killing in a later phase

@@wes2k3b10why else would a gm jump in and increase the boss’ health by 2000% right as it’s about to die? Probably because it wasn’t meant to be killed (yet)

@@venumus1you fool! It’s more probable that it HAS a loot table and the GM doesn’t want them to see the item yet. No loot table is the dumbest thing I ever heard. If there’s no item then there’s no reason the Gm comes.

Just the other night I narrowly avoided a massive alliance death ball I didn't see coming until it would have been too late. They definitely saw me but didn't change directions from their objective. Really had that "I shouldn't be alive" feeling. lol

since phase 2 of classic in ally AV cave that im aware of. didnt seem they changed anything though
