Finally I needed a nice cheap plane trip to Florida and Texas

Saw other comments about this and wanted to confirm that Spy is wrong. Thinner air means less engine power, aka more fuel consumed because the engines don't have enough air to provide thrust. I live in Colorado and on some days that have thinner air some small planes are unable to fly due to the thin air up higher. So in this case the engines would have to work a lot harder at that altitude and it would be very fuel inefficient. I don't mean to be a nerd or anything but I just wanted to post what was true about this since I saw other false comments.

12:23 I don’t mean to be an aviation nerd and might be wrong anyway but if you fly higher there is less drag from thinner air and the engines won’t have to work as hard which means less fuel. Great video

In real life you cannot repair or put back together a plane that has sustained extensive damage because severe damage to the airframe, which has to expand and contract in flight, would result in metal fatigue and weakening in the damaged areas that would inhibit the airframe from properly doing its job. Once the airframe is compromised it’s straight to the scrapyard with the plane.
