I have just got back from Birmingham after a 3 day break! We never experienced one smile from a cashier a person walking beside you, not even from our hotel staff! Not even asked of we enjoyed our stay! It got to the point, we're I was even saying "thankyou so much" with more of a smile than I normally do, and with a bit of encouragement in it, to try and pass on the manners! But nop, nothing..... I found it an extremely cold place to be and that wasn't down to the weather either!
@@Clown_fightertell me you've never tried proper Indian food without telling me? Turmeric, garlic, ginger all found in abundance In Indian food are great antioxidants and the chillies in curries help stave off infection thanks to their high vitamin A and C content.
@@The.Toaster what I was trying to point out was that the content of indian food isn't likely to muck up your insides as much as it's being peddled around. Just like eating a full on English fry up cooked in highly saturated butter for breakfast everyday is asking for trouble, eating a curry cooked in a lot of Ghee is just as bad - Moderation and variation in diet is key. You can cook a healthier curry with all the beneficial spices with less Ghee (or taking deep cuts of fat out of your stew), but you can't avoid a deep fat fried drenching when you go out for cod and chips now, could you? If you choose to drown your curry/stew in a slob of Ghee then that's pretty much the same choice as deciding to eat deep fat fried food for dinner, in both cases you're likely to end up with diabetes if you keep at it. My point is, it's not what's in the food that's the problem, it's the excess, the benefits are there if you balance how much of it you consume. Saying that, if you were to hit the gym with the purpose of keeping in shape, then a Tandoori over a curry would be the preferred choice.
Try ‘The New Hen and Chickens’ for a grill (Great food 👍 and affordable) Try Pattyman for burgers (best I’ve tried in Birmingham and the Black Country) Love your channel, can’t wait to get home from work every day to watch the days video 👏 Keep it goin 👏👏👏 Up The Wolves 👍
My wife and I visited this place. We could see into the kitchen. The chef took some something in his bare hand and then licked it off and carried on cooking. Then he started eating the rice with his bare hands and threw the rest back in the wok. Not the best thing you want to see. We told a staff member and they agreed it was very unhygienic. They need to put their kitchen staff on a hygiene course!
Gheeeze-zassss some of the twaty comments. Piss off if you dont like this content 😤 the mans flying, fairplay. Anyway, food looks delicious 😋 thank you 😊
It’s great to see good food in these small provisional towns , Birmingham used to be terrible for food but seems to of improved as decent cooks move up from London
"decent cooks move up from London". Either this guybis trolling or just plain arrogant and knows nothing. Brum and the surrounding area has been thriving for years when itbcomrs to food. Its the most diverse place in the UK, ppl came from all over and the food is top drawer. Its also the home of British Asian food. It doesnt need London cooks.
Good morning Guys,Did You All Have A Fantastic Weekend The Food Looks Good But ! How much 🍻💲💲 ,Take Care,Regards to your Families CU Mate's KEEP Your Chin Families
Im impressed you got there in one piece.......one of the worst rds in birmingham for idiot drivers and if it's not them its muppets on electric scooters with the usual man bag ,black tracky and balaclava .....
Food definitely looks good but I'm pretty sure fish pakora is not cod. All the Indian dining places I know, use Pollock. It's a cheaper substitute for cod. not noticeable to the eye since it's white. Cod is much more nutritionally dense and dearer. If they used cod in fish pakora they would be an expensive dish.
West Brom is in the birmingham area. It has a birmingham postcode doesn’t it? Even though it’s under Sandwell council🤷♀️. Also, surely you have bigger things to worry about 😂
@@FoodReviewClubUKWe’re not brummies! That’s the biggest insult you can give someone from the Black Country! It’s like calling someone from Sunderland a Geordie! The Desi pub is a West Brom staple! The Vine The Hen and Chickens The Sportsman The Cottage The Merry Go Round ‘The Red Lion’ (The Best) The list continues….
