When I was little I saw this one episode of "Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids" that had a teddy bear which had been abused by the kid come to life during the night and turn the kid into a doll. What's interesting is how this is based off of an ancient Japanese tradition to exorcise malicious spirits. They would be trapped in the doll until they had been calmed and the dolls were cleansed to remove the spirit and send them off to some sort of heaven.
