I have the cub cadet pro 54 for two years now and is one of my best mowers.. I love the way is to easy to lift the Deck, adjustable platform, no grease pointe and the wide wheels 🛞 holds the hill really well.

I tried the carbureted version and I think it’s equal the Scag. Both built well and both cut amazing. The reason that throttle is so easy to move is because there’s no cable attached to it. That motor has an electric throttle on it to help it with heavy loads and tall grass. Pretty unique design if you ask me.

I have the 648 with 640 hours. I have had about 5 springs break so far. Considering it has like 20, its meh. The hydro pumps have slowed somewhat. Overall im happy with it. Its really the only mower I have ever used. So I dont have much to compare. Im about to order the 660. The speed is good. Cant really cut much faster than that on most properties. I see some really high end mowers can do over 16kmh. But I demo'd one and theres just no point. Comes with a Kawasaki, so you know engine wise you should have no issues. I have now had to replace both front wheel bearings. I did wheelies a few times though.

I have the carbureted version and I absolutely love it. The only things I don’t like about it are it seems to be a bit louder than other mowers and the oil dipstick can be hard to get to. Other than that I love it and would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Big thumbs up for the rubber deflector. Can't stand the mowers with solid plastic chute deflectors.

The deck lift lever is actually off of the old 2000 and GT2500 series Garden tractor cub cadet made almost 20 years ago now! Love my GT2544 its built like a tank just like this Stander.

I want to go to Equip Expo this year and try different machines out. However I'm VERY Biased towards Scag Machines. We have two VRide II and one Turf Tiger.
