I just saw a pull rate infographic on Reddit. They're pretty rough.

This makes the pull rate of SARs VERY comparable to alternate arts from Sword and Shield. Many people demanded worse pull rates and here it is guys. Have fun

It's frustrating to hear people say they want pull rates to be worse because they want singles value to be higher. It's a kids game/hobby and making the pull rates bad only hurts that primary demographic. I'm not a fan.

Rough… I haven’t been opening S&V but I bought 3 loose packs from a shop last night and pulled Gengar full art, raging Bolt gold card, and iron boulder regular ex. Might end it with that since it seems I’ve got nowhere to go but down from there haha

2000 Booster Packs * $4.5/pack = $9000..... absolute insanity

Poekmon tcg pull rates have always been bad, even from the original base set. Just something to live with....Which is why I stopped buying irl packs over a decade ago and the moment Pokemon TCGO became a thing i played the heck out of that..now it's gone

Opened a booster box today, 1 Gold Gouging fire, 1 Ultra rare Iron leaves. I DIDNT GET A SINGLE ACE SPEC.... I guess ill take those 2 great pulls tho, cant complain

I just started collecting Pokemon again and they bring the sets out way to quick I've got Scarlett and violet base ,paradox riff , Obsidian flames, 151, Paldea evolved on the go still haven't even got the paldea fates yet then temporal forces comes out and then there bringing out Twilight Masquerade next

Not sure I would use the words "terrible" pull rates or Pokemon went "backwards". Just harder to pull better cards. Could be like obsidian where it's too easy and everyone hates that set because prices are too low

Every time they cut pull rates I cut what i buy in half. I opened a ton of paldea evolved cuz its fun to open. If they want me to buy less they're doing it. I'll just open 1 of each product then buy singles

I was super surprised, I was at the store and checked the pokemon machine and.... Temporal Forces etbs..! They never have brand new at the machines on the day of release... I... Times are changing.

This set sounds rough. I usually buy some products to open before going to buying singles, but if it's this rough I might skip opening and just go straight to the singles

I'm glad I didn't buy a booster box and just bought some bundles and single packs for Temporal Forces. It's unfortunate about pull rates. It might turn off some people for future sets if Pokemon doesn't give you a hyper or SIR per booster box now on average

Pokemon Company > we are going to give you more meh hits and a lot less good ones sorry not sorry. Worse then Fusion Strike Hmmm.

Happy Temporal Forces Release Day. I bought six single sleeved packs and pulled a Cutiefly illustration rare and the Iron Boulder EX full art. Not a bad start!

Just started with a booster box and etb, and straight off went to 72.3% complete. Loads of the top end cards to get! Did get a full art, 2 ace spec, and gold card. 17 pulls all together. Amazing art though!

Imagine cracking >100 boosters just to get one SIR...nuts

I don't mind this pull rates honestly, they're a lot closer to SWSH now. And that is another reason why I prefer blisters and collection boxes to get my packs, those are the most funs. Especially that I don't plan on buying booster boxes like I did and will be focusing on singles... yeah

My etb and 3 pack blisters were not that good, bad luck i guess😢

Looks like Pokemon is moving towards recreating the V Alt Arts... but in the form of SIRs. I'm not entirely opposed to it, but I think we NEED an extra rarity for the main holo "hit" spot. If I were PCI, I would add in some ACE Supporters that are Full Art w/ the Pink at a rarity above Ultra Rares in the holo slot

These numbers are crazy! I think the best course is purchase between 2-4 booster boxes and hope for a SIR. but I think the bulk of the hits I'll buy/trade as singles

Great work as always. Have you seen TCG Players data? They had a sample size of 8000. Similar to yours (as usual) but SIRs and Hypers were a bit rarer still. Seeing the data I feel I was quite lucky. No SIR or gold but had 15 hits. 6 Double rare, 2 ACE , but 3 IRs and 4 Ultra Rares.

Well... the pull rate of sir and hr are nerfed, but ace specs are hits too... overall the pullrate all together is better then in paradoxrift etc. but worse for specific sir and hr cards

The set has beautiful art but Almost 2000 packs just to finish the full master set. That is insane I guess I'm picking up singles wow

I bought 3 sleeved booster packs from my LCS while I am waiting for my bigger orders. In the third pack I pulled the Raging Bolt ex SIR! I never have that kind of luck. 😊

Just finished watching. Outstanding content. Something to wonder about, the competitive aspect of this set notwithstanding: if the Special Illustration rares don't have a lot of value as singles, given they are so hard to pull, will this set just die on the vine? Will be interesting to track pricing and trends for this one.

There needs to be tougher pull rates on some cards to have enough rarity to make some cards in a set really valuable. The problem isnt that that some cards are so hard to pull that it makes collecting them all real expensive. The problem is some people are still of the mind set that they need to collect them all. Im ok with some cards being so rare that im not going to pull them all so long as every set has some of those cards so that now and then you do hit one. So long as its not the cards needed to play and compete in the game i dont see why there would be a problem with making a few cards extremely hard to pull to make appealing to collectors. This is the reason why S&V gen sets have been rather lackluster so far in overall fan appeal. Because they have appealed to game players by making all their cards easy to get but they have forgotten the collector who wants only cards that are hard to get. It looks as though this is an attempt by Pokemon to correct that issue.

I opened up 3 booster boxes 2 pokemon center ETB's 2 regular ETB's 10 booster bundles and only got 1 Special illustrator Rare from all that.

Hopefully this time around the price of cards doesn't crash like OF did. Would be horrible to spend $1,000 to get a hyper rare that sells for $20.

Rarity doesn't necessarily = higher value. There needs to be demand and rarity.

Pretty crazy. Definitely think the SIRs should retain value, and rarity helps that - but still it makes it less fun to open on average. I definitely think they could make the sets more exciting again if they made the regular holo rare pattern actually interesting though. Back in the day we had cosmos holo regular rares and really cool reverses, now we have bland holos and bland reverses.

I guess the Pokémon company heard us complain about the pull rates for SV 😅

Pretty sad to see this set having tougher pulls tbh, it makes it harder to get desirable singles. Problem they might get more expensive in the future because of its artwork and circulation atm. It's not an easy set but it is pretty amazing for it. Seeing how these cards look I will not be very surprised to see this set going up on price in the future like Evolving Skies or Fusion Strike atm. It might not be the same due to quality control but due to the awesome artworks id say it could go up on price. But once again thanks for the information man. Great Video.

So wild Eri was your last out of that many packs. I generally do not get good pulls, but I got it out of my first pack from starting this set out of a booster bundle. Just goes to show how different everyone's experiences are with pokemon

I feel lucky enough to have pulled biancas Sir out of my first booster box. (On my Chanel!) and iron leaves sir out of my second. Not a fan really wanted walking wake sir or gouging fire 🔥

Yeah pull rates are pretty bad from 8 packs I opened today i got one pull that was the gengar ex regular art. Definitely felt that shovel ankle pain

I’m going to open stuff for promos, but I can’t put a bunch of money in this set. I’d rather keep buying Paldean fates. So I’ll maybe get a booster box and grab packs here and there.

The Pokemon Community is weird. They cry about hit rates being too hard. TPCI makes SV easier to hit stuff (still not a walk in the park), then people complain about it being easy. Then TPCI makes pull rates harder again and it’s “wow im not used to my boxes having this few amount of hits/so many exs”. What do you want? TPCI should stick to what they want to do. The community is bipolar. The hit rates were fine before. Who cares if the hit rates are let’s say 1/30 for an SIR. Are people lacking in the mental department? That’s not how odds work. If there’s 1/30 odds that doesn’t mean if you open a Booster box oh there’s 36 packs yay guaranteed SIR. If I open 30 sleeved packs yay SIR. If there’s 5 SIRs in a set and you buy 5 booster boxes with 1/30 odds yay I get all 5 SIRs. 151 was a good balance of difficulty/maybe a tad difficult. I’ve opened well under odds and pulled 2 blastoise SIR and 2 Alakazam SIR before I got to odds of pulling 1 SIR! Then after opening hundreds of packs I still don’t have Venusaur SIR, Zapdos SIR, and Charizard UR. I traded my 2nd Blastoise for Zapdos SIR. Money bros ruin the hobby. Crying about rarity and funny enough this is probably the 2nd cheapest chase set opening release weekend. PE, OBF, PR, 151, PF all had a $100+ chase card opening weekend. Temporal doesn’t.

I got 1 Pokemon Center ETB. I got the Alt Art Biancas Devotion and I pulled the Iron Leaves SIR, and the Metagross IR in the snow. Pretty good pulls 👌🏻 Still can't believe the 1st pack I pulled Bianca

Thanks again Danny for the cool pull rate numbers. These are my favorite videos. Packs are fun but like you always say spend your collecting dollars what is best for you and for me it's singles. Granted I tend to like more than a couple cards in a set, so I end up with more than one copy.

Opened up 1 booster box and 2 ETBs and no SIR or Gold just yet. Some IR and 2 Full Arts pulled, but nothing crazy. Bought them for the tcg, but even for deck building it’s rough.

Opened a booster box, got one SIR (raging bolt), three IRs, two Ace Spec, three Full art Pokémon, one full art trainer, and five DR ex’s. Sounds like I got extremely lucky! I have a second box on the way but after that good luck and seeing the full pull rate data, I’ll probably just sell that one and grab a few singles that I’ve got my eye on after the prices cool off.

I wonder why Pokémon is choosing to go backwards with pull rates... sure, they're a business and everything so I get it but the timing is odd. I suppose sales are down compared to S&S so they figured they'd change up something? Not sure but I've been liking this set so far. Great looking IRs and SIRs. Maybe not the most popular mons but beautiful cards nonetheless.

I am beyond pissed about this set. I ordered 3 boxes and just got done opening them. I did not pull a single SI in THREE boxes. Not one. Two of the boxes had the same pulls too! Box 1 i got chatot/arbok/reuniclus arts and box 2 had the same 3 arts only! Im over this set already.

I was thinking of buying a Temporal Forces ETB to see if I could get 1 or 2 ultra rare's I wanted from this set. But after seeing this I'm really happy I just bought a few singles and saved myself the money/trouble.

Gotta flex a little, i bought three packs today on the way home and i got awakening drum and special illustration rare IRON LEAVES, im pretty ecstatic😊

If I can't spend $200+ on 2 Booster Bundles and not have realistic odds of a single SIR, I feel Pokemon has gone too far. I'm fine with Rare but over 72 packs feels too far to me. This set will sell because of rotation, so I'm not sure Pokemon will get the message, but I hope collectors take notice.

So you opened $5000 of booster boxes? I m curious what the plan to recoup that money is. Are you reselling individual cards or are you building sets for people who pay for them? I mean I doubt you are spending 5k every set release just for making a video right? I m really curious how this works

I hope the pull rate is down and not just batching issues where like we saw in other sets. Like 151 sometimes there's no hits and sometimes I'm pulling 4 SIRs out of 4 products that I picked up at the same time at the store.

Glad I’m just not very interested in this set. I’ll stick with singles I want and load up for Twilight Masquerade😅 I do wonder if Pokémon had a feeling this set wouldn’t be very popular and nerfed the pull rates to keep value afloat

Danny we know you're trying to help us. But why don't you compare to Fusion Strike and some sun and moon sets like base set. We are completely spoiled now compared to what we had before. Fusion could absolutely destroy you and give you like $5 worth of bulk

This is my first set in the while that I decided I was going to open a bunch of boosters for too bad. The pull rates are not great but I'm not really collecting rather building to play somewhat competitively. I just bought a box of build and battle displays for $130. I'll let ya know how my pulls go when i receive and open em up

This is why I have not bought any packs the past sets....I know its always a gamble but I would rather just buy what I want from someone and not waste money.

Im glad you said that it might be best to buy singles even though you sell boxes. It shows you actually give a damn about the hobby. I know that if this is going to be the trend for sets moving forward im just going to stop buying booster boxes. Its just not even remotely financially responsible to pay 100 for a box when your not even going to get a single card worth 20 bucks. If this is the way pokemon wants to lean they better make damn sure the cards are going to have enough value to them to warrant the scarcity

I know it might be blasphemous to say but I'd love to get the master set to play with my buddies

I feel like they can make sir and hyper rares tough to pull without making it this difficult and everyone be happy. Something closer to paradox rift pull rates is where it should be. I usually open up a decent amount of each set but seeing those pull rates turns me off from buying and ripping. Makes me want to just stick with one piece or something else

I hope this isn't Pokemons version of trying to repeat an Evolving Skies with shitty pull rates but highly desired alt and rare cards.
