Hi Jess and Gabe. I know you probably wont see this but I still wanted to put this out there. I am a fifteen year old girl from a small town in Idaho. When I was a baby my birth father left me and my mother and took his two boys back to Seattle. I have only met him once and that was 9 years ago. About a month before I found your channel I started to feel really down about it. I was blaming myself for everything he did and I had convinced myself that no one could ever want to be my father. I started to shut my step father out of my life so I couldn't make him leave. He made my mom so happy I would fall apart if I drove him away from her. This guy I call Dad took me in as his own when I was three years old and made me his daughter, he showed my mom the truth of Jesus, and he took my to my first ever Sunday church class. But because of my past I started to push away one of the greatest people that ever came into my life. Until I found your channel. You guys have put your whole life in God's hands and let him guide you through his plan. I spent time every day listening to you guys and watching how you act because of the Lord. Because of you I picked up my old Bible and read it cover to cover twice trying to understand why God gives us the challenges in life that tear us apart every day. After getting nowhere, I decided to take some time to talk to my heavenly father and ask him some questions. When I had finished I felt a huge weight lift of my shoulders. The Good Lord gave me a set of instructions to follow. I opened my Bible and I knew exactly where to go. Things that didn't make sense before I could finally see clearly and everything started to make sense. I came across one verse that changed my perspective on everything. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; After I read this I knew my struggles early on in life may have hurt me, but in the end it gave me a family that loved me endlessly, a relationship with God that I would not have had, and a father to love me. If not for you guys I would never have picked up that Bible. I would still be blaming myself and pushing away the one man who actually wanted to love me unconditionally when he didn't have to. I owe my happiness and faith today to you two. God is working miracles through you two and you guys are so far from done making your mark on this world for our Heavenly Father. I heard about your tour and really want to come see you. After everything you have done for me I feel I need to meet the people who inspired me to become my best self. I stayed up all night making a display board to convince my parents to let me get a ticket and meet you guys in Seattle.
