I spent 5 chidhood summers in Bermuda...My parents loved it there (We lived in New YOrk CIty and would fly to Bermuda for a month every other summer from the age of 6 so my ideas of summer vacation are deeply connected with this island) I live in Germany now...I would like to go back to Bermuda as an adult but it is very far from where I am. Have you been to the little cove next to Horseshoe bay? I loved it as a child for snorkeling in a calm wave envvironemnt. Te food was very goof there too as I remember. BUt mostly the pink sand and the friendly people...Oh yes and the Banna Bread!!
There are direct flights in the summer from Bermuda to the Azores island. It would be cheaper for you to fly to Portugal Azores and Bermuda. I know it’s a lot of flying but it would probably be cheaper.

Love the seas, nature, cozyness, warmth, bathing, music, the caribbean feeling and much more. Plus the people seem cool! More down to earth and different than here in Europe. In Norway we have four seasons, its too much for me 😅🌞 I love travelling too and I'd love to travel more by sailing.
